    My truck broke down on the 28 but I managed to make it barely off the Jasper exit. Within 5 mins, before I had time to put in a AAA claim, a guy named Dan H. Stopped and offered to tow me to K&L. Before I could say Thanks, we were in tow and on our way. It was one day before New Year's Eve so they said they would be able to check it out on Monday. By Tuesday it was fixed and they didn't price gouge me cause of my CA plates. I will definitely bring my truck back here for fixing.

    K&L did work on my boyfriends car and took a month to replace a bumper, left the car super muddy inside, only replaced one headlight instead of the two they were commissioned for, didn’t answer the phone for two days when expected to give the car back one of those two days, and the list goes on! Overall, not a good place to go to when there are so much better down the street.

    I cannot thank Shane and his team enough. I'm in the middle of a solo road trip, I start hearing a noise that sounds like my car was about to breakdown. I start freaking out because Im halfway between Nashville and Chattanooga. My mind starts racing thinking I'm gonna have to turn my car in for a couple days, cancel my hotel, find one in Jasper, etc. I stop in here and even though they were super busy, they took the time to diagnose the issue, gave me piece of mind and didnt try to upsell me on unnecessary repairs. Its rare to find this level of honesty and kindness for someone just passing through but they turned a high-stress situation into a manageable one. Highly recommend K&L for their expertise and character. Thanks Shane and team!

    Broke a ball joint on the expressway. Quick search for a repair shop while the tow truck was on the way, l found K&L. He was able to fix the next day. Shane is honest and trustworthy. I’m sure I’m not the only person that knows that. Thanks again for your help and getting me back on the road Shane

    On November 17, 2025 I was scheduled for some body work at K&L Automotive. There was a scratch on the front passenger door handle, and a deep scratch and small dent on the passenger rear door. I was told my car would be ready Friday, November 21, 2025. On that date I called to see if my car was ready, as Enterprise Rental had called me to see if I'd be returning my rental. I advised them my car wasn't ready, and it would be next week b/c they were waiting on a part. I called on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 and was advised my car would be ready the following week, as the door was painted to wrong color, and they would be closed the rest of the week for the Thanksgiving holiday. The following week my insurance company contacts me asking if I had a completion date for my car and I told them I did not. I also told them I wasn't pleased with K&L b/c each time I had received an update on my car, I had to call them to see what was going on. The agent told me she would contact the reinspector of the issues I'd been having with this provider. Fast forward to December 10, 2025 which is the day I picked up my car, and the owner speaks with me and says, "I hear you called the insurance company raising Cain about me." I said raising cain is a bit strong, and the insurance company contacted me wanting to know the end date b/c I had a car rental, and the time period for that rental was nearing the end date of when they would continue to pay for it. He explained the delays, and I told him I understood, but that I would have appreciated updates. He then proceeded to tell me it was my insurance company's responsibility to keep me updated. It was then I realized he's not going to accept accountability for the lack of client education, so we walked out to my SUV. The first thing I noticed is that the scratch was still on the door handle... he apologized and advised he would order the door handle, paint it and call me when it was ready to be replaced. The door handle was replaced in less than a week. My dissatisfaction with K&L isn't with the quality of their work, it is with their customer service, and client education. For me, it was non-existent.
