  My first visit to K&L Automotive was a few years ago when I needed body work done on my pickup. That visit set the tone for everything that followed. Between Chris, Shane, and the entire team, it became clear pretty quickly that these guys can fix just about anything — and they do it well, honestly, and at a fair price. Over the years, they’ve proven that point more times than I can count. One example that really stands out: we had a visitor from Florida whose vehicle suddenly couldn’t maintain speed over 30 mph. This wasn’t a simple issue, and time mattered. K&L diagnosed the problem, ordered the parts, and repaired the vehicle all in one day. She was able to leave without disrupting her plans — and the car is still running great. Another time, one of our vehicles needed a major 30,000-mile maintenance service. K&L performed the same work the dealer recommended, but at less than half the cost. No corners cut, no upsell — just straightforward, competent service. At one point, I jokingly mentioned a hydraulic issue on our excavator — not even a standard auto repair. Chris and Shane didn’t hesitate. They told us to drop it off. Sure enough, they diagnosed it and fixed it without issue. That pretty much says everything you need to know about their capabilities and their willingness to help. What really sets K&L apart is trust. They explain what’s going on, they don’t talk down to you, and they don’t push work you don’t need. In an industry where that’s not always the norm, it matters. I can’t say enough positive things about Chris, Shane, and the entire K&L team. If you’re looking for a shop that does excellent work, stands behind it, and treats customers fairly, this is it.

  K&L has taken care of us more than a few times for our friends and family in town. We also have taken our heavy equipment here to be fixed. They have always taken us right in and fixed it for a very resonable price. Shane and Chris have always been good with communication and knowledgeable about all of the services we have asked about throughout the years.

  My truck broke down on the 28 but I managed to make it barely off the Jasper exit. Within 5 mins, before I had time to put in a AAA claim, a guy named Dan H. Stopped and offered to tow me to K&L. Before I could say Thanks, we were in tow and on our way. It was one day before New Year's Eve so they said they would be able to check it out on Monday. By Tuesday it was fixed and they didn't price gouge me cause of my CA plates. I will definitely bring my truck back here for fixing.

  K&L did work on my boyfriends car and took a month to replace a bumper, left the car super muddy inside, only replaced one headlight instead of the two they were commissioned for, didn’t answer the phone for two days when expected to give the car back one of those two days, and the list goes on! Overall, not a good place to go to when there are so much better down the street.

  I cannot thank Shane and his team enough. I'm in the middle of a solo road trip, I start hearing a noise that sounds like my car was about to breakdown. I start freaking out because Im halfway between Nashville and Chattanooga. My mind starts racing thinking I'm gonna have to turn my car in for a couple days, cancel my hotel, find one in Jasper, etc. I stop in here and even though they were super busy, they took the time to diagnose the issue, gave me piece of mind and didnt try to upsell me on unnecessary repairs. Its rare to find this level of honesty and kindness for someone just passing through but they turned a high-stress situation into a manageable one. Highly recommend K&L for their expertise and character. Thanks Shane and team!
