- DCDouglas CoppFeb 16, 20261.0I have talk to the manager and I dont need a reply. My daughter went there instead of going to my mechanic. They said she need a new motor. 10k. I told her to park it till I came in off the road. When I got it running I found out it needed a water pump. Changed it. Then plugs plug wires coil packs and a pvc valve which was causing it to build crank case pressure and pushing oil out the valve cover gasket. Im not mad. Its like everything in life you have people that know there trade and love there trade and some are in a trade but dont know there trade. Not all mechanics are equal. Some are just parts changers. So out of the kinds of you're hearts because it had high mileage on the truck and because of the oil leak you want to replace the motor even tho not one person actually looked at the truck to see what was wrong. Quote a high price and see if they will pay. The truck as stated didn't need one and not one person was going to say that because you thought you found someone to rip off. You guys need another trade.
