- KFK FNov 3, 20251.0Just left this Pilot gas station (travel center) where my husband, son and I purchased 5 hotdogs. The incredibly rude pink-haired cashier asked us why we needed 5 hotdogs. My husband and I exchanged glances and he told her 2 for him and his son and 1 for me. I asked her why she asked and she replied “most people don’t buy that many”. I asked her why she kept track of how many hot dogs people”usually” buy and she replied “I’m not saying it’s excessive but most people don’t buy that many”. We were in shock. This person should not be working with the public. We’re talking about 5 hotdogs for 3 adults.
- ZZZiggySep 20, 20252.0Once again pilot has met my expectations which were not very high. Fortunately the fuel pump only leaked about a half a cup of diesel this time. Apparently this had been going on for a while due to the amount of fuel that was on the ground as well. Again I was asked if I have a pilot's reward card. I gave the same answer I've been giving since I first got the darn thing a year ago. " It hasn't worked since I got it regardless of phone calls to the number on the back". I got the same answer I almost always get "oh". In the 1 year that I've had this card not one single employee has offered to try to help fix that. Other than that the place was fairly clean as was the bathroom. I don't bother using their showers or buying their food because I can get some of that for free at Love's because my card works there. There is a fair amount of parking but about a third of it is paid
