We came in for speakers the guy behind the counter couldn't answer a simple question if the speakers had a warranty or not , he just said im not sure . We proceed to pay for speakers, auto detailing spray , and some weather guard car coasters that were on clearance for 7.99 , he rang them up and it said 19.99 I ask are these not on clearance he just blankly stared at me and started over which rang up the same again. So then he proceeded to sit them aside next time he rang it up I ask can someone not help you fix the price he just replied oh I dont know . Cash or card he ask . Needless to say we will go somewhere else from now on . Ridiculous!!!

Advance Auto Parts will sell you the wrong parts you need (brake pads and rotors in my case) then will not accept an exchange/refund if the box isn’t in original condition, even though it was their mess up in the first place! How are you supposed to find out if you were given the right parts without opening the package?! The parts themselves were not damaged in the least. Their solution to this was for me to buy ANOTHER set of pads & rotors that “might” fit my vehicle… Do not shop here if you don’t want to be ripped off.

Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
