- ADAnna DealDec 5, 20255.0Michael Szabo at the Elizabethton store assisted me with my 2016 Volvo XC 90 that was showing multiple codes including start stop, parking brake, tire pressure not reading one tire. He checked the auxiliary battery very quickly and discovered it was beyond needing replacement. After a few minutes he had the new battery installed and within another few minutes the codes cleared. Also the Volvo dealership in Bristol had previously broken my hood latch release and left just a sharp jagged wire that I have to use plyers to pull it hard enough to get the hood to open (they didn’t notify me that they broke it nor offer to replace it). When Michael tried to close the hood the latch would not disengage so the hood wouldn’t close. He took the extra time to look at it and moved the wire’s position and it went back into position allowing the hood to close. I had been using WD40 to get it to slip back into place but thanks to Michael I know how to fix it without the spray. Thank you for being so proficient at your job and excellent customer service!!! AutoZone is very fortunate to have such a stellar employee especially in today’s world!! If you are wondering why I (a72 year young female) has to open her car hood so much…it’s because the car has an oil consumption problem that started at 44k miles. Volvo knew there was a problem with that year and Friendship Volvo did everything imaginable to keep from getting the car problem fixed. So I carry 5 quarts of oil and WD 40 in the back of my car.
