  I was looking for a one way rental to Georgia that I picked up on a Friday. The gentlemen at the office was terrific. Easy pickup. Unfortunately after picking up the truck I discovered I had lost my wallet with credit cards and license. After searching everywhere I called Penske corporate line and explained the issue. Since i could not drive the truck as planned, I returned it over the weekend. On Monday I checked the office and they didn't have my wallet either. Found it a day later. Today I called to get a refund for the unused rental, but ran into one of the worst customer experiences I've had in 30 years. First the district office questioned how I picked up the truck without a drivers license after I had just explained it was lost after I picked up the truck. Next he questioned how I drove 37 miles when I only drove 10. Told him it must have been a typo when they wrote it down because it sat in my driveway for two days. Well he effectively called me a liar and said he was only going to credit 25% on a $500 one way rental. I never write these, but calling customers liars and taking advantage of them after they've already had a bad weekend does not engender customer loyalty. I had used Penske before, but never again after this incident. Steer clear.

  Needed a truck in a hurry. They helped out and got me one right away. They really went out of their way to get me what I needed . Life savers.
