- JCJacob CrawfordNov 7, 20255.0These guys just changed my bad mood to good. I had to go in there this morning because the store in Mount Pleasant refused to take my return. It was a Reman-starter I purchased a week ago but I had misplaced the receipt. But when I walked into the Columbia store, they were ready to help immediately. They knew what proper customer care was. And it was easy for them. They just looked up my transaction, and issued my refund all while smiling. That is proper customer service. And I will continue to come back to this location. In fact I will go way out of my way to avoid the Mount Pleasant location and shop at this one. Thank you so much! I’m so glad to see that proper customer service does still exist.

Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
