- JJJoshua JoynerNov 11, 20251.0I stopped in to get oil and a filter real quick on my way home. I had my 3 year old in my arms. They had a deal for oil and filter for 32.99. I grab the oil and walk up front to ask which filter is included in the 32.99 deal. The guy at the counter says sure but do you mind using some other kind of oil, because they have a contest going on apparently to sell a certain kind of oil. The store that sells the most gets a prize or something. I said I don't mind as long as it's cheaper or the same price. He slowly goes and grabs a filter from the back. Then walks all over the store looking for the oil he wants to sell me. Then when he gets back to the register, says it will be 37.99. He had already put the oil I wanted back on the shelf that was supposed to be 32.99. I said that's fine whatever because I was ready to go, and I don't mind a few extra bucks if it helps them out. It rang up for like 53 bucks and he just stares at the screen like he can't figure out why its ringing up so much. Obviously he didn't even know how to find the right oil and filter for the deal. And he was already trying to sell me a more expensive deal so his store could win a prize, nothing in it for me. My 3 year old was being good but we had been standing there for a while and this guy was just staring at the screen. So I told him forget it and we left. I can go by the mcgrady location, they are awesome over there. Horrible experience.
