  I have been in this store numerous times being close to us and had a great experience every time but my last time has resulted in this review. Everytime I have been in this store regardless of who rang me up except the individual below…..I get asked if I’m military or they notice and put the discount on there anyway. You can watch them do it they always need a manger’s code so you can tell if they did it or not. I went in there Tuesday to grab some de icer since I used a jug getting my car unfrozen. I found what I was looking for with a few other things I needed and headed to the counter. A female manager….I think she is a manager….with really short hair and was pretty short herself rang me up. She scanned everything and read me my total not saying anything else. I looked at the screen and asked her if there was a military discount in the transaction since she didn’t ask me if I was a vet or anything. She rudely clapped back and said in a snappy tone….”No there isn’t….how am I supposed to know that if you don’t mention it.” I politely said that the other employees always ask or add it because they can just see I am military. Then she bluntly asks for an ID to make sure after I had to do her job and bring it up. I didn’t say anything else and just left with my stuff. I didn’t care so much about the discount it was how she rudely snapped back at me for just asking if it was on the transaction. All she had to do was ask if she wasn’t sure. I’m pretty sure 90% of their customer base is military anyway. Totally unnecessarily and way out of line. She may have been having an off day but stay home if someone asking you about a discount upset you that much.

  I was in a very bad position.I'm needing a battery and a young man at the counter.Truly I feel God sent he just stood there with a smile on his face and gave me a great deal. Went out of his way to help me get a battery for my car. Thank you very much. I will recommend this store to anyone the young man's name is Javon he is a blessing thanks again

  I went in there to buy a battery which I did. The young man, Lucas, then proceeded to install it. It turned out to be a difficult install but Lucas was not deterred! His boss came out and they had to take off the engine air filter to get the battery out. Without hesitation Lucas did what he needed to do to change my battery. He went above and beyond to get it done, free of charge of course. Lucas is going to be a father soon and I know with his work ethic and wonderful personality he is going to be a wonderful father! Auto Zone, you have a gem in Lucas!
