I usually go to Tire Discounters for the deals. However they won’t just sell me the tires. The guy claimed that “we have to install them due to liability”. This is this first time in my entire life I’ve been told that. I’ve never been to a tire shop, that won’t sell me tires.

No, a lugnut was left off and I was going out of town and had to stop at O'Reilly to get a lugnut and a tire iron to put it on.

I give them 1 star only because we have used them before and not had problems. I took my Mini Cooper in to get 4 fresh tires last November. They did inform me at that visit (after they had put on the tires) that they did not have the proper tools to align my tires in the back. Started having problems with the car about 1 month ago. The front tires (not the back) were completely out of alignment and rubbed down to a dangerous level. They agreed that alignment was off and would road hazard them off and replace. Called me and said one of the tie rods was bad and they could order a Mini tie rod to replace. Agreed, picked up car next day, and paid for tie rod and road hazard. Got 1 mile down the road and every sensor in the car started alerting. Went back to have them check it and was refused. The manager, who in the past has been very pleasant, refused to even look at the car again. One of the other workers even offered to put it back up and check wires. Manager looked him dead in the face and said "no, we will not do that". He said they could not fix what was wrong. None of the sensors and such were going off before I took it in. Understand they might not have the computer to fix it, but don't agree to do work on a car you cannot fix. Ended up taking it to the dealership where they showed me video of the after market tie rod they put on it, after Tire Discounters told me that they were getting it from Mini. Had to pay dealership to reset computer and do a full alignment. We used this Tire Discounters for all of our cars' tires and oil changes. I have already spread the word amongst friends and families not to use. Would not recommend.

Frequently Asked Questions About Tire Discounters

How do I know if I need an alignment?

The #1 cause of uneven or rapid tire wear is misalignment. Your vehicle also may pull to one side or feel "loose" when steering, and you might even observe a drop in fuel economy. Alignment is critical to tire life and vehicle safety. In fact, if you install new tires on a misaligned vehicle, some manufacturers won't even honor your tire warranty. Everyday driving, potholes, hard turns, and sudden stops, gradually knock your wheels out of alignment. This wear is natural, but it can quickly chew through your tires. That's why Tire Discounters includes a FREE alignment ($129.99 value) when you purchase 4 tires installed. It's just another way we help you get more life (and more value) out of your tires.

How do I get a free alignment?

At Tire Discounters, when you purchase any 4 tires with installation, you get a FREE alignment. A 4 wheel alignment is valued at $129.99, and comes with a 12 month warranty.
