  Our older Mercedes SUV seemed to have excessive brake pedal travel compared to when I last drove it. (My wife is the primary driver.) We had the rotors turned down at this NTB a couple of years ago and they did an outstanding job. Not long after dropping it off they called and said in looking at the brake fluid level in the reservoir they immediately noticed that it was a yellowish color and appeared to be contaminated, and they suggested taking it to the dealer for investigation. We did that and it was found to have water in the fluid from condensation, which happens with older vehicles. Corrosion caused the yellowish color of the fluid. The dealer flushed the system and refilled it with new fluid and it's now got normal pedal travel. A huge thank you goes out to this NTB for their honest advice and expertise! They are 5 stars!

  I purchased tires from national battery and tire in April. I had a recent service appointment at Lexus of Chattanooga who recommended I rotate my tires. I returned to NBT as I recalled tire rotation was included in the purchase of the tires in April 2025. I saved over $100 getting my tires rotated at MBT. Once again they were efficient kind and attentive.

  Took my car in for an oil change, tire rotation and balance. I usually go to Walmart but got terrible customer service there and decided to shop around. Called and talked to Neil, a manager at the NTB store on east brainerd. He was able to be competitive with the pricing. I took the car in and had it worked on and finished in a timely manner. Very pleased with service and the price. A couple weeks later I returned due to an existing problem with squeaking brakes…I have a 2024 traverse with only 12k miles on it. I did take car into Integrity dealership since it’s under warranty. Service person at Integrity had extremely terrible customer service, my car was used for someone to go pick up lunch at chipotle, didn’t actually do any work on my vehicle and said brakes are no longer under warranty. That the factory brakes just shed a lot of brake dust hence making the noise. They didn’t offer to do anything to help and had my car for over 6 hours. I was so frustrated so I called NTB and spoke with Neil Jackson. He had some ideas to help. Cleaning the brakes and greasing them. Something that is in the mechanism to help with the squeaking. Brought it in and had car serviced very quickly. Very affordable. OUTSTANDING customer service from Neil. Thank you for taking care of my needs. It has improved tremendously. Hate to replace brakes that are only 1 year old. Neil offered a reasonable and easy solution. They have earned my loyalty.
