  I went to purchase an RV last Saturday. The salesperson did a good job. Given that, the document process was not so good. After four sets of documents there was still an error. I gave up. I paid cash and they tried documenting it as if they were financing. One was the requirements was proof of insurance. I guess they also didn’t know insurance offices are closed on weekends and insurance companies usually allow seven days for documentation. And after verification with TN motor vehicles they do not require registration for truck campers, yet they wanted to charge fees. I am a lifetime Good Sam member and have been a customer of Camping World for years. Probably not anymore.

  I recently purchased a camper from Camping World and made it very clear during the negotiation process that I did NOT want the Good Sam’s Package deal. Despite stating this stating this multiple times, I later discovered that a $2,500 Good Sam’s package had been worked into the contract. I feel misled and pressured. When a customer clearly declines an add- on, it should not show up in the final paperwork. Buyers trust dealerships to be transparent and straightforward, especially when making a large purchase like a camper. I encourage anyone buying from Camping World to carefully review every line of their paperwork before signing and question any add-ons they did not specifically request. This experience has left me frustrated and disappointed.

  They tried sneaking in a hitch for 1900 dollare for a 3000 pound trailer 2500 to check if everything worked on a new camper also tried to charge me 14000 for a camper on sale at 12999 then wanted my payments to be 280 for 240 months and then magically 116 for 120 months so no I didn't feel comfortable buying from them

  Coty was the person that helped us the most. He was on point every time we had a question or concern or needed help at all. No matter if it was over the phone or in person. He knew what he was doing and it was obvious. We had our share of problems that were not the fault of Camping World or any of their employees. Coty was always very patient and courteous. Rick, the service manager also came to help us after we had an accident in the parking lot. Scott and Joe were also on point with their knowledge of what we needed in order to get home safely. (an hour and a half away) All of the customer service employees at the store in Chattanooga were very helpful. We will be back to do business again and we will tell others about our experience.
