  I am extremely upset with how Tommy’s Express handled the damage they caused to my vehicle. I drive a Tesla with a rare paint color that is not easy to match or repair. My car went into their wash in excellent condition. It came out with significant scratches running down the entire side. I immediately reported the damage while still on-site. They took my information, acted concerned, and assured me they would follow up. They never did. I had to repeatedly call them myself just to get a response. When I finally spoke with someone and was told to come back, the General Manager, Joshua Carrier, dismissed the situation entirely. He claimed the scratches were “not consistent” with their wash and stated their cameras showed my vehicle was “pristine” before entering. However, they did not even offer to show the camera footage to clear their name. If they are so confident in their claim, there should be no issue with transparency. Instead of taking responsibility, they suggested the wash “probably” removed dealership wax, which is an absurd explanation for deep, visible scratches along an entire panel of a vehicle. Wax does not create gouges in paint. Even more concerning, Joshua suggested I go back through the wash again to “see if it scratches more.” When I did, I observed that not all of the wash components were functioning properly. That raises serious questions about equipment maintenance and whether they are aware of an issue but refusing to acknowledge it. My Tesla’s paint is rare and costly to repair properly. Damage like this affects not only appearance but also resale value. The complete lack of accountability, refusal to provide evidence, and dismissive attitude from management is unacceptable. At this point, I am documenting everything and exploring further action. I strongly advise anyone with a high-end or specialty vehicle to think carefully before trusting this location.

  We had a great experience with Scott at the Bristol TN location. He was extra friendly with us and our toddler. He gave our son a ducky and also an air freshener, which we’ve never gotten before. Thank you Scott!
