- AHAC HJan 3, 20261.00 STARS: BRISTOL, TN VOLUNTEER PARKWAY LOCATION Car I was given was scratched everywhere, interior was filthy with black handprints, full handprints, smeared all over the headliner and trim, older with little tech (navigation on screen/apple CarPlay were not available, vents didn’t allow for mounting my phone where I could see it easily), tire pressure alerts came on the second day I drove the car, all four tires were seriously under inflated. Then the check oil light came on. Car was supposed to be comparable to my personal vehicle, which is a newer model large SUV w/ 3rd row leather seating, heated seats, full tech with navigation. They gave me a 5 seater base model Nissan Rogue, which is very small. I have 2 adult-sized children. Called to ask for a different vehicle. Was told I could bring the vehicle back to swap, I live an hour and a half from the location, so they offered to contact a location closer to me. That second location (ABINGDON, VA) never contacted me, and the vehicle was never swapped out. All employees were nice and friendly, but my issues were not resolved at all, other than them offering to let me return the car with no gas instead of the 1/2 tank that was in it when I got the car. I was supposed to hear from an agent at the BRISTOL location regarding additional compensation, did not hear back from him. TLDR: They gave me a janky beater car with many, many issues. I pay a lot of money for premium insurance coverage w/rental insurance, and I do not feel that I got anywhere close to my money’s worth. 0/10, do not recommend.
