They should have given me the option of upgrading. So, the cost was more than expected. After the tire pressure was checked, they would have actually put air in my tires to spec, but they did not.

Generally speaking, I run my own oil changes and maintenance but figured on this one I'd take a break. Bad decision. Given my OCD care for my car, I decided after 20 miles to check oil levels because, well, I trust no one. Glad I did. It showed high. I figured it was a half quart high, which given the fact they use pumps instead of using drain plugs to remove oil seemed reasonable. When I took it back, I asked them to take .5 quart out. They looked at me like I was crazy. Showed me the dipstick 'It's a little high, nothing to worry about'. Yeah, okay. Do it anyway. They pumped 1/2 qt out. Still high. Pumped total of 2qts out. Finally normal. At this stage, I trusted nothing. Long story short, my car holds 6.9 liters. They had 9 in it. Read that again. How this happens is beyond me. I make the assumption they use pumps to take the oil out instead of using drain plug which caused a miscalculation. They didn't pump enough out and then added the full 6.9. Had I not checked their work, this would have ended up in catastrophic failure. Don't argue that. 2 extra quarts of oil would result in catastrophic failure. Anyway, after this debacle I brought the car home to check their work...again. Shows high...again. At this stage, I'm just going to eat an additional $80 on oil and a new filter and do it myself. Oh, to add to the incompetence, I'll also note they left oil all over the engine compartment. It's as if they tried to spill oil everywhere inside. There was also oil all over the quarter panels and hood. They also broke the battery terminal cover ($20 part) and left it sitting on the radiator. Never even mentioned it. To top it all off, never even received an apology or refund offer. Do. Not. Take. Your. Vehicle. To. This. Place. You've been warned.
