Folks, this is the worst place ever. A year ago a work order was developed to restore my 340 engine on a 72. Dodge demon, 340 and transmission and rear end for $ 7000 what happened was, they did nothing to the transmission, messed up the rear end, in fact, when I picked it up. Started pushing it out of the garage. The rearend was clicking because they failed to put fluid in the rear end, fast forward to the engine, they did absolutely nothing. No receipts would not provide no documentation or tell me really what's in there. This was supposed to be a 6 week job, not 5 months later. But yet charged me $7000.. tried to sue them but was dismissed because I am not Considered an expert engine mechanic. Although I am a licensed professional engineer.. Have built 6 muscle cars still have 2 of them built over 13 harleys and injured into shows and have plenty of pictures and documents to prove it, but go figure, this is what you get in McMinn county, general sessions court don't ever go to Athens cylinder head. They will rip you off. In fact, they have kids that work there practice on customers cars that you don't even know about I found out through Inquiring on Facebook and a kid actually wrote me, but would not come to court, they're evidently quite a bit of kids out there that being trained in auto mechanics practicing on customers cars, and that's why some of these cars are messed up bottom line, take it from me and my loss $,7000 don't ever go to this place. They have no clue what's going on. I don't think they even know how to change oil... In one of the pictures below, you'll see the motor mount mounted behind the lip of the engine block. Therefore, you had to cockeyed the actual motor mount 45°... Now that picture you'll see the painted zinc coated oil PAN that you're not supposed to paint, but they paint it anyway, and now you see it flaking off and incidentally, I told them not to paint it, i even have text printouts, but that didn't matter because that's considered hearsay ..what..but they painted anyway, this didn't matter to the judge... Another picture you'll see the spark plug threads painted. And if you take a scope and look inside the cylinders, you'll see paint on top of the pistons or on the inside of the cylinder walls... Not only that, I told them maion roller rockers, cam lifters, timing chain, what they get, I had to buy the roll of rockers, and everything else was non roller so now, based on artificial intelligence, it says these parts will not match up either. Go all of the way on rollers or not this engine. Will not run efficiently and will lead to problems because of mismatch, timing and machine services... But I know these things, but you cannot tell the judge because I aint nobody compared to him... The audacity of the judge to assume that I'm a complete idiot... Not only that, I could not hear after spending time in military, I have no hair in my left ear and I have and 20% loss and tenets in my ride ear. So I was heavily trying to hear what everyone was saying and by the time I understood about every third word and I asked Questions like I didn't hear what you said. The judge got mad at me?.. In Fact, there is one nice police officer. Look like mister clean, but not the heavy build. He was standing near me and was looking at me and was trying to help me out. Understand what the judge was saying, but you would think the judge would see that, but did not. So it was a complete joke. Yes, the engine may look clean, but it was not prepared. Whatsoever, paint is flaking off. In fact, I have other pictures that show the orange paint bleeding through the blue paint, which means that they did not hot tank. Painting, the aluminum elderbock high rise intake manifold. Why would they do that? The block whatsoever, they scraped it off as I see, raise your blades near the block and pictures. This is a complete joke. They have no Knowledge of had ever built an engine don't ever go there.

Picked up my jeep terrance had been working on . Everything working as it should , this is my 1st time using them and he called me every step of the way with the problems and the prices. We picked up our jeep and dropped off our farm truck for him to work on . Its hard these days to find an honest mechanic and i truly belive in him and his team !! We own 10 plus yrs old vehicles plus our work vans ..i highly recommend for your next car issue !!

I’ve never had such an upfront mechanic! Walked me through every step of the problem in both of my vehicles and charged me a great price for the work he did. They’re very professional and even showed me what to do later so I wouldn’t have to come back! Wow! I highly recommend.
