  This is a long one. I’ve been going to GCOC for almost 10 years for my oil changes and have always had a great experience, aside from my recent visit to this location. 3 employees were scrambling between the 3 vehicles in the bays, which resulted in much longer than average times for an oil change (not a big issue, I wasn’t in a rush). What did happen was, instead of focusing on one vehicle at a time, they were somehow working on all of the vehicles simultaneously. One guy asked me when my last oil change was and, when I asked why, he told me that the oil was clean. When I told him I was about 15,000kms since my last, he then proceeded to tell me how that was neglectful and they wouldn’t cover my motor if anything happened (honestly the last place I would blame, until…). After the oil change, I was told to start up my vehicle and rev my motor to 2000rpm, which would have been fine if my dip stick had been put back in.. but it hadn’t, and oil sprayed all over the inside of my hood and engine compartment. I only realized this because when they take out your dip stick to show you your new oil, the guy couldn’t even find the dip stick. I watched this happen from the gap under the hood and no one said a thing, they just wiped it quickly with a rag and sent me on my way haha. I would have complained if there had been anyone competent there to complain to. Also, I was told at the end that they were out of washer fluid so I wouldn’t be getting that topped up (a part of the price you pay for sure). Anyways, definitely will never be back to this GCOC, and this may very well be the push I need to just do it myself at home for half the price.

  Willow grove location if you guys are going to owner a free oil change because you over filled it and I had to get it fixed at my local mechanic shop in my small town then when I come back for my free oil change and don’t honor that’s pretty sad

  After being greeted I sat in their bay for 15 mins without anything being started on my car. Had budgeted 40 mins in my day thinking it was enough to get an oil change. Number of bays being used does not represent number of cars being worked on at once. Wouldn’t recommend this location if you’re in a rush

  After checking in and asking for a cross tire rotation I Waited 20 minutes inside . They tell me after that they do just the front wheel rotation. I told the manager that I did the same cross pattern with them in my last visit couple of months ago he checked the records and started arguing about it until he said that they shouldn't have done it t back then since it is against policy. What a waist of time why not tell me before hand instead of waiting for nothing.

  The Great Canadian Oil Change on Nelson Road in Saskatoon is one of the best oil change places I have been to in the country!!!!! Kris the manager is amazing and he knows what customer service is all about!!! Austin and the rest of the guys are top notch. I would highly recommend this location for your next oil change. Mike
