I went to fountain tire twice. Once for an out of province inspection, which went fine, but they took a very long time so they gave me a coupon for an oil change (they also gave me grief for a rear wiper that they didn't have in stock. Dubious at best). So I came back for an oil change (which was only half off because I, like everyone else need synthetic oil, which is not that much more expensive but hey... lets charge double anyway!) and to have them mount my winter tires that hadn't been used in 3 seasons. I wanted to make sure they were good to go. After this visit, the steering wheel shook at 100kph, and my oil leaked (turns out they broke where the filter casing connects to the engine). Also, when I checked my oil after, it was dark and old. They obviously didn't bother emptying the oil properly, and reefed so hard on the filter that they broke the holder. They also didn't bother taking the car past 50kph in the test drive for the wheels. 400$ later (at the dealer this time), here we are with a 1 star. No, I didn't contact them to have any of it made right because they wouldn't have the capacity to deal with it and trust is now lost. The only thing I can't vouch for is if they would have offered to fix it for free... but knowing their lack of ability I rather pay someone who does it right. Also I am tired and don't want to deal with them anymore.

It has been a few years but I went in for a wheel alignment and they took off 1 tire and put it back on and tried telling me that I need all this front end work done before doing the wheel alignment (which I had quotes from 1000 too 2200 dollars and fountain was around 3600 dollars) I Said why so much for taking off a tire (which they charged me around 180 bucks) and put it back on, he said it's policy, after talking too the owner I think I got a 80 dollar refund, still paid around 100 dollars too take off a tire and put it back on (not switching rubber... just taking off the tire too inspect the inside and say "sorry your vehicle needs work in order for us too give you a wheel alignment"), so I call them for a lt tire around a year and half ago and they said a said around 450 a tire... I got the same tires at quality for 230.... and again another experience about this place is I went in for a tire bead replacement, they quoted me around 75 dollars, they broke every stud on my gmc and that 75 dollars turned into a 550 dollar fix for replacing new studs and the break seal for the gmc dually and then insisted too take off the lug nuts off the other side too see if everything is ok... ( i said NO DO NOT TOUCH THE OTHER SIDE AS YOU COST ME AN ARM AND A LEG..AFTER all this happend i went out the front door and walked into there garage asked the employee did you heat the lug nuts up after having troubles and he said no we didn't,(out of the 5 garages that took off the tires on the other side (passenger side i watched them try too take them off and heated them up and BAM they twisted off) . This place have f me around for years and too be honest there are cheaper and better out there. At the end I did take on the 187 dollars wheel alignment after getting my truck fixed by another shop too recover my money as they would not pay me back in cash as I felt like I shouldn't been charged in the first place...... I've spent way too much money here and too be honest I think I should be entitled too around 480 dollars but there way too business is credit so you keep co.ing back... EDIT** my customer ID is Leigh's Roofing and I am not looking for compesation as you guys did me and my business wrong, I am just here too educate anyone using your business as you did me wrong many of times, read above, 50 dollar repair turns into 500 dollar repair because your technicians do don't know how too heat up a bolt and take it off, I believe one stud but then they continue and ask me if they want me too remove the other side I said hell NO, could of costed me 1000 dollars and when I went back there I asked did you head up the bolt, he just laughed and said "no man I just used the impact haha" if you want tires go too quality tire enough said they are honest unlike you guys....

Frequently Asked Questions About Fountain Tire

When should I replace my tires?

Tires wear out over time, and how long they last depends on things like road conditions, driving habits, inflation, and temperature. The best way to know when to replace them is to check them regularly. Common ways to measure tread include the following. - Tread wear bars: When these are flush with the tread, it’s time to replace. - Coin test: If too much of the coin shows, your tread is low. - Tread depth gauge: The most accurate way to measure. If your tread is low or you see cracks, bulges, or notice vibration, come see us.

What are some signs my vehicle is out of alignment?

It doesn’t take much to throw your alignment off—potholes, curbs, or just everyday driving. Poor alignment can lead to faster tire wear and poor handling. Common signs include: - Vehicle pulls to one side - Crooked steering wheel - Uneven tire wear - Loose or unstable steering - Vibration in the steering wheel If something feels off, we’re happy to take a look.
