Everytime I've taken my vehichle to Bob's I've had excellent service! I appreciate the kindness and knowledge of the of the people who work here. As someone who is not a "car person", I greatly appreciate the time Corey has taken to explain what my issues have been and the best course of action. I have a lot of trust in these folks and I never have to worry that I'm being taken advantage of. 10/10 highly recommend.

SIMPLY PUT THE WOMAN MECHANIC NAMED COREY STARTED GOING OFF ON ME. I WAS TRYING TO GIVE THEM MY BUSINESS AGAIN BUT SHESTARTED BLAMING ME BEFORE I COULD FINISH MY SENTENCE. Sorry in advance, this is long, but not hard to explain. I want someone to listen, even if it's an anonymous potential future customer. I paid them to fix my car and they said it was roadworthy. It was not. I had two tires with blown belts. I returned and asked them what to do. The guy mechanic told me it was "road worthy" but shaky; I had two tires with blown belts in back. He gave each one a pat as he pointed them out. I couldn't wait till Monday for them to fix it because I had to work. I had to call in and miss work. I had mechanic #2 replace the two back tires the next morning and left for work. When I hit the road my car was still shaking. Turned out it was the two PASSENGER sides that were blown. I had just thrown away a good tire under warranty for no reason! $150 bucks! Ouch. I'm not rich. I then had to pay mechanic #3 to replace the front passenger tire! He put on a used tire for me to get me on the road on a budget and not miss work again. It was H&K OIL IN YANKTON. Nice guys. I decided to give Bob's another try since I needed a good tire passenger front. I asked for the woman mechanic, Corey, because she saw the guy pointing to my BACK tires as the one's with blown belts. I told her I was hoping they would take their mistake under consideration when pricing the new tire. That's all I wanted. I would have settled for an apology. She then started going off saying "take WHAT under consideration?" I hung up. No reasonable person would think this person was prepared to have a meaningful conversation 1) the fact that I was first told a car with two tires with blown belts was "roadworthy" 2) telling me my driver side back tire had a blown belt when it was perfectly good. It stinks that there's no quick way of explaining this but I hope future potential customers read this. It's not that they made a mistake, nobody is perfect and I was willing to give Bob's another shot. Corey made that impossible. H&K OIL has earned my trust and business by being fair and mostly respectful. The business wouldn't even listen let alone acknowledge what they put me through and cost me (work and tire costs) and treated me like I was the one who made a mistake. Maybe don't yell at you! I HOPE THIS HELPS YOU AVOID THIS PLACE - IF YOU WANT TO BE LISTENED TO BY SOMEONE WHO REALLY WANTS TO UNDERSTAND WHERE YOU'RE COMING FROM AND TRY TO MAKE IT RIGHT. I WOULD HAVE SETTLED FOR AN APOLOGY AND A TRY

Landon - Best employee, Super friendly & helpful!! Was scheduled to get work done... was not told what time appt. was, so we called & were told by a very rude, unpleasent woman, we missed our appt-time (but no one called to see if we were still coming) & we can reschedule .... She made me never want to go there ever again... not even for gas!

They wouldn't even take my car because they believed, without looking at my car, that it had a transmission issue, even though my car had no trouble shifting gears. Since they thought it was a transmission issue, Jerry's was convinced too and waited two weeks to look at my car. It was an oil leak. By the time Jerry's figured it out, the car was bone dry, and the engine was ruined. I appreciate that they were trying to save me the cost of a second towing, since if it had been the transmission, I would've had to take it to Jerry's. For a town this small, towing is expensive. I do genuinely believe they had my best interests at heart. But now I have to find a new car.
