  I have to say this was the best car renting experience I have ever had. Quinn was the absolute best, I was hurting so bad after a multi-city trip and he not only brought the car up to the easiest access point, he also helped me with my bags and gave me fantastic directions as my phone was possessed and showing ZERO bars post landing. He was so kind, patient and polite. When I returned the vehicle, the representative at the counter was also exceptionally helpful and friendly( sorry, I can't remember her name). All in all, Rapid City two thumbs up!!!!

  If you are looking for great place to do business with....look somewhere else! Having used National dozens of times before, we expected to have the same great experience. However, we were very wrong. Picking up and dropping off the vehicle was easy. While dropping off, the lot attendant didn't have any concerns after looking at the vehicle. One month later, we get a packet in the mail that they are charging us $4,000 for hail damage. Yes, the internet says it hailed in the area. Did we ever see hail? No. And, the car was parked in a carport when not in use. Additionally, we were staying 5 miles from the airport, where the cars are parked outside; so even if there was hail while we had possession, that car would have been impacted regardless. After going back and forth and them not budging, we finally let our auto insurance company pay them. Mind you, while they provided pictures of the "hail damage", 1) they were unwilling or unable to provide pictures of the car showing that there was no damage when we took possession, and 2) they were unable to prove that the damage didn't occur after they resumed possession. The insurance company deemed the appropriate repair amount to be $3,200, and said National would likely waive the difference. NOPE. Now coming after us for the remaining $800.

  Fast and easy check in and return. I left something in the car and was able to quickly get a hold of someone who will be shipping it my way ASAP. Amazing customer service!
