  I would give zero stars if I could. Go anywhere for brakes or tires but here. Shady with a capital S! Gave me a quote for new brakes on front tires of 550.00. When I picked up, they had charged 850.00 to my credit card , the extra 300 for labor. I guess they don't care about return business. Disgusting way to do business. They also damaged my van.

  They had me on my way in no time. I was working on my delivery route in West Columbia and I got back to my vehicle and my front tire was completely flat. I Doordashed a can of Fix-A-Flat and used my portable air compressor to pump my tire. I 100% recommend everyone carry those two items in your vehicle. I was able to drive the 2.5mi to Mavis, with the sweet couple that delivered the Fix-A-Flat behind me in case my tire went flat while driving. They were a godsend to me that day. I was a mess when I walked in but the gentleman at the service desk was very kind. He pulled my truck in to check the tire. I sat there in tears bc this messed up my whole day. A few minutes later he brought my truck out to me and had my tire plugged. Still don't know what caused the flat but it left a nice hole to remember it by. 😒 The gentlemen was so nice. He said don't worry, there's no charge we've taken care of it for you. I appreciate his kindness towards me in my breakdown state. 2nd time working in Columbia and 2nd flat tire coming to Columbia. I absolutely recommend this place to anyone that ends up with a flat tire. I appreciate their professionalism. 👍 Thanks for saving me that day.

  If you have any problems with Mavis Tires & Brake's DECEITFUL employe's on Emanuel church Rd. DO definitely call LANE the MANGER and have it addressed! Because when you're in a place of business and they have an employe or employe's that DECIVES the customers, that is bad for any business and it reflects very horrible on the company. When you deal with customers you ought to upfront and transparent but mostly be honest with the costumer! LANE the MANGER appeared to be the only honest, upfront and transparent person in that place! Lane handle his job very professional and represented the company Mavis Tires & Brakes well!

  Came in for front brake pads after being quoted $230 over the phone. In person, I was told it would be $75 and all i needed was front brake pads. While I waited, additional work (rotors) was done without my authorization. I was then told my total was $438, but after questioning it and reiterating i only had the money originally quoted on the phone the price magically dropped back to $230, which matched my invoice. The work itself was done well, but the pricing and lack of communication were concerning. Make sure you get a written estimate before any work begins.

  Wife took her car to mavis for two tires. She was told she needed brakes on her car. That they could save rotors if pads were replaced. We denied service on brakes and took car to dealership for brake service. Dealership said brakes were in great condition. Please be advised they are trying to upsale to women. Stay away
