About 6 weeks ago I came to the shop on a Sunday with a friend of mine from church who was driving on a spare tire that was shredded and very unsafe; she did not have the full size tire/rim with her. I had her follow me to Mavis. Although Mavis did not have a rim for sale, Victor allowed us to leave the car on their property long enough to go to a salvage yard and get another spare. Upon return to Mavis, Victor immediately went to work to switch out the spare tire and ended having to switch the new spare onto the old rim. Victor was very helpful and accommodating to ensure my friend had a safe way to transport her family home. Thank you Victor!

I usually do things on my own, but an axel is not something I would mess with. After getting a tire balance rotation+oil change Derek did just as he said he would, a full inspection for each concern and then some. Full communication between employees while offering their opinions without the extra push that people know is just a way some mechanics scam women. And thanks to the very fast and efficient work. Derek understands while meeting you halfway on a light wallet and giving me my valid list of "fix it now"s, I'll be paying another visit to continue fixing my 2002. Thanks to the gentleman and Derek for exceptional customer service.

Less than 10 minutes after leaving, my rear driver’s side tire had dropped to 7 PSI. I refilled it to drive back, but the store had already closed for the day. The next morning, the tire was completely flat. Fortunately, my stepfather suspected something was off and took my vehicle back to Mavis. What we found was absolutely unacceptable: • The “new” tires were actually used tires. • The technicians had failed to install the rubber seals, which caused the air to leak. • They broke my original Toyota sensor and replaced it with a cheap knockoff sensor to hide the issue from my vehicle’s system. This is blatant deceptive and unethical business behavior. If my stepfather hadn’t stepped in, I would have been driving on unsafe tires that I was told were brand new. Do not trust this shop — especially if you are a woman. It’s clear they thought they could take advantage of me, and I’m grateful we caught it before it caused a serious problem or a fatal car accident. Mavis should be held accountable for this type of fraudulent service. I’ll be filing a complaint with corporate and the BBB to ensure no one else has to deal with this.
