  We had a rental on a multi-state road trip and ended up with a flat tire in the middle of nowhere, in an area completely unfamiliar to us. The rental company told us to go to a Mavis location and we were told that someone named Jeff would have a tire ready if we could make the 20 miles in, and that’s exactly how it played out. We arrived pretty stressed, but Jeff was there waiting for us. He treated us with real respect and kindness during a tough moment. We got a new tire, made it safely to our next destination, and it honestly meant a lot to have that level of customer support when we needed it most. Thank you to Jeff and the entire crew.

  On Friday, my husband called to get pricing for mounting tires we had already purchased and an oil change. He was quoted $24.99 for each tire and $92 for the oil change. I found both to be higher than quoted at another place, but due to the conscience of Mavis being closer to our home, we made an appt for the 8am the following day. Upon arriving today, when we were told the total of the services, the tires were said to be $34.99 each tire cause all the di is mount and have LESS responsibility of the tire since they were not purchased there....seems price would be lower if all they had to do was mount and balance...no responsibility of the tire, but what do I know. I recommend buyer beware of pricing!!!! They do not honor prices quoted on the phone! Also, be care of what they are playing in the TV....they had a movie with filth in the movie! My 13 year old granddaughter was shocked as I was also. Husband did ask for it to be changed and the older gentleman gladly changed it. Just be mindful of what is playing if that type of filth is not appreciated. AND...AFTER 2 or so hours, my husband said he smelled gas really strong. We stopped and he looked under the hood ....guess what? They didn't bother to put the oil filler cap clback on, so oil is ALL over my engine now!!! Called them and the guy said the manager has left to go on vacation for next week. He took our number to call us back after he finds out what to do. I am so done! Again...buyer BEWARE!!!!

  This tire shop was an absolute blessing in disguise for our family! Our Cadillac Escalade started notifying we had a low tire psi on our back tire about 10 mins outside of Walterboro on a Thursday evening on our way to Disney from NC with our two children. We called them and told them we were headed to them from the highway and somehow made it to the tire store before the tire was totally flat. Harleigh greeted us at the door and checked the tire and immediately told us the side was sliced and we needed a new tire. She was already off work but she went to the computer found our right tire, checked all of our other tires to make sure they were okay. She sent me to the show room with my kids and then proceeded to give our 7 and 10 year old candy as they waited for the tire. The kindness and hospitality during this unexpected and unfortunate detour was so appreciated. We are so thankful for you all!

  I took a 2018 Honda Ridgeline in for new front rotors and brake pads all around, I was quoted $978, once the job was complete the cost had risen to $1078, the clerk back tracked and said the total was $958, apparently the %10 discount only amounted to 20.00.

  Stopped in today because my lawn mower tire was flat and off the bead, they fixed me up no charge and I was back on the road in less than 10 minutes. They also checked and aired up my truck tires while I was there. Great service.
