Had a no call/no show for a remote appointment. I even called to confirm the same day. It might not have been a huge deal, but I was on a very tight timeline. In the end, I drove it to the shop the next day and they were able to get the work done.

Chandler was great! Was running a little late getting back home and he was kind enough to wait for me. He explained everything he was doing and kept me updated on progress. Very friendly and professional.

My vehicle was returned to me in an unsafe condition. While perfection is not expected, as a national company, customers should reasonably expect their vehicles to be returned in the same condition or better than when they were received. Let’s start from the beginning. - Booked online and the price was $545 but I realized I accidentally selected a glass without a defroster so I called and the person I spoke to had change my appointment date to get the correct glass and the price changed to around $640 with the defroster option. No big deal, that was my bad. -The day I dropped my car off it was pouring raining. I get a call a few hours after the drop off saying they had the wrong glass because it didn’t have defrost and they would have to get the correct glass from the N. Charleston warehouse and the price would now be $870. No one explained how this glass with a defroster was $640 when I called and now it magically jumped to $870 the day of service. -I agree to be finessed financially because I’m over it and just want to move on. I go to pick my truck up and I noticed my rear seat (it had to be taken out to get the back windows out of my truck) was soaking wet because they put it on the ground somewhere soaking wet. So now of course the truck smells damp and I have to have the fabric cleaned. -Window is not centered height wise. There is a noticeable gap between the roof molding and rear glass on the driver side and the molding is loose now. -The rear middle seat belt was reconnected wrong and wouldn’t retract like it’s supposed to and one of the buckles was just stuffed back in the seat and wasn’t reattached to anything. Literally just stuffed In between the cushion unbolted. Completely unacceptable because that’s where my kids sit almost everyday. If I didn’t function check all the seat belts, this could have been an absolute terrible situation if I had an accident and obviously a lawsuit against Safelite. The technician said he started on my truck but had to do something else so another technician finished up. Therein lies the problem. There should be a safety inspection checklist, especially if you’re passing off your work. That way the technician knows what you did or didn’t do. Now I can’t help but think what else did they miss and the quality of service. -The technician did fix my seat belt issues after I pointed it out before leaving. Nothing about the gap in the glass/roof molding was done. The owner will likely leave a comment apologizing or a link where I can complain more but that really isn’t going to do much.

Tracy with Safelite was extremely polite, professional, and overall a pleasure to work with. He replaced my windshield and did a fantastic job. Out of curiosity for how the process works, I asked him if I could watch him complete the windshield replacement. Not only was he happy to have me outside watching him work, he educated me on the process and essentially taught me something new that day. Cannot recommend highly enough! Tracy is great!!

I had a terrible experience with Safelite. It started off when my son crushed his rear windshield on his Porsche. I was having a hard time finding the replacement glass. Several Porsche dealerships told me the glass had to be ordered from Germany. But the local Safelite center swore they could get an after market replacement. Even the local manager called to reassure me that they could get it. So I decided not to immediately order from my local Porsche dealership. Big mistake. Sufficient to say that after a series of what can only be described as rookie mistakes, the local center front office coordinator called and admitted they were unable to get a replacement. So I had lost at least a week on a 6 week leadtime item by then. And the worst part is that I asked her to ask the same manager who I previously spoke with to call me. You think he called me? Of course not.
