  So, back on January 20 of this year, the shop n Rivers Avenue in North Charleston severely messed up my car and sent me on my way like nothing happened. I called them and they hung up on me, so I contacted the Summerville branch and brought my car in. They acknowledged the damages was their fault and told me they would fix it and pay for it, but I would have to call customer service to get that in motion. They played around with me for so long that I was going to take it to another shop to get the work done and let the Regional manager know I was. He said that was fine and to give him the invoice so I could be reimbursed. $1788.49. As you can tell by this review, to this day in November I have yet to be paid back for something they acknowledged as their fault. Every time I have called customer service ( I’m always told that the Regional manager is out due to medical reasons, and that another Regional manager has taken up my case and that they will take care of me promptly. That has happened 3 times and I have yet to be reimbursed all these months later.And yes, I still have the invoice to prove their negligence and I hope by leaving this review for all to see will show them their business practices are very much flawed and I would like to settle this here and now without me having to use legal representation.

  This Rising when placed with a concern by My mom and a few TPMS sensor lights and seeing a nail in the tread of her tire. My initial thought was to once again take it to tire repair experts at Mavis Tires & Brakes, I had 2 tire Patchings and Sensor reset completed, eloquently and thoroughly. I’ll definitely be giving them more of my business. Special Recognition to the Techs on site and the Consumer Resolution Specialists Ramell & Dylan 💪🏾💯

  Never take your car here. I took my wife’s car here about two days ago, to do an alignment on her car, they did the alignment and charged us for it. Little did we know that there was something else wrong with her car and they did not tell us before they did the alignment so we took it back, and they said that they fixed it again . But it was still acting up and doing the same thing that it was after the first time we got we got it “fixed“. They ended up telling us that it was the tire rods that were bad and it would cost us about $800-$1000 to fix it. We took it to another mechanic shop to get a second opinion and they said that the tire rods were perfectly fine and that it was something completely different. So we called them and they told us to come back in a few days later for a refund to speak to the manager. We come in the day they told us too, and the manager was acting clueless and being rude saying they didn’t call us and giving us a hard time about getting a refund. Then they finally let in and the manager said “I don’t care just give them the refund“. The service here is terrible and it takes way too long to do a simple check over a vehicle and they are completely careless and don’t care about anything but making money and trying to scam people and they are so rude. don’t take your car here, I wouldn’t even take my bicycle here to get a new tire.

  Wish I could leave 0 stars. My daughter took her car here for an alignment and when she left she got 1 mile away and noticed the car wasn't driving right. She turned around and took it back and they "looked" at it for over an hour just to hand her the keys, say everything is good and say they were just off on the alignment. She left and once again the car wasn't driving right. I then called them and they proceeded to tell me she needed ti-rods and it would be $800-1k. We ended up taking the car for a second opinion. The new place told us that Mavis caused a bulge ring to come loose and that she did not need ti-rods. We ended up having to spend more money with another place to get the car fixed for something mavis caused. The employees, mechanics and manager at mavis were all very rude and acted like everything was my daughter's fault. Save yourself the headache, money, time and frustration and skip going here. You will end up with more problems than you came in with. Want to add that never did they take accountability or Apologize for this huge mess up that was their fault.

  Came in no appointment I understand it would take time I 100% get that they was also short staffed , not their fault but still I’ve been here for five hours checked in roughly 9:30 got completed checked in price quoted I’m fine with it, what I don’t appreciate is how I was told if I left I would lose my spot . Held hostage left my kids home alone for hours while everyone else was able To leave if they wanted to. Posting this review at 2:00 I’m still here . He did discount the service I appreciate that I just wish could’ve have & left and came back when the truck Was ready .I really didn’t expect it to take more than 4 hours I should have be able to leave after I checked in and handed over the keys. I will never allow a business to tell me I can’t leave again call me When you’re done servicing the truck
