They didn't have the oil filter in stock so ordered it immediately from Advance Auto Parts at 945 Bacon Bridge Road, which according to Google Maps is exactly 4 miles away. I only have one car so I had to wait for the oil change to be completed. It took over 2.5 hours for the part to be delivered from Advance Auto Parts. I witnessed at least 4 calls from the agent at AAA Car Care to Advance Auto Parts at 945 Bacons Bridge Road, and overheard the parts store person say the delivery man was on the way, identifying him by name. That delivery man is known by AAA Auto Care who see him frequently due to deliveries. On the last call the agent told me that the man who was supposedly "on the way" answered the phone. This resulted in a job that should have taken less than 30 minutes to take almost 3 hours. I value honesty above all else, and to witness not only dishonesty, but laziness as well, goes against my grain. I commend AAA Car Care for their efforts on my behalf. They refused to charge me for the oil change, so had to eat that cost as well as the cost of the oil filter. I suggested that they find a different parts source.
