I have 4 cars that ALL currently get serviced at the Goodyear in Simpsonville. Manager Stephen and Mechanic Mike Mitch have been lifesavers time after time. Both listen very well and communicate thoroughly of what is needed for the fix. They are true to their quotes and word. Both keep you informed on the status of your vehicles. Stephen makes you feel that your in good hands and he will personally go out of his way to make anything right. Instead of having busy techs clean some dirt from work he (while busy) he cleaned my driver area better than I left it. No work is beneath him. He is a good example for his employees. As far as Mike his experience level is off the charts. He can do it ALL!! My family all know to go see Mike if they have any issues. I no longer let any place work on my cars except for Team Stephen and Mike. Goodyear, those two are awesome employees in a world of not so good workers........take care of them.

Today... February 18, 2026.
I was Almost Very Impressed! This is the Simpsonville Store near the I385.
I went in for a new set of tires and 4-wheel aleignment on my 2005 Scion with 250k.
What I walked away with a full-blown outline for keeping my Baby Car (Jojo) going on to 400k!
Quotes were reasonable! Service like you hope for!
I like this! It sure beats the Heck out of Killian Auto Flunked!
I will update in March... as follow-ups are on my calender.

I dropped my van off on Friday afternoon. It is a fleet vehicle and needed rear brakes. I told them they could have it until Monday afternoon and to look it over. I picked it up Monday at 4:30 as I needed it back. Nothing had been done. They didn’t pull it in until Monday and waited until noon to ask the fleet company for approval. What ever they asked the fleet company to do was denied. I think they were trying to milk the fleet company for unnecessary work. I won’t be back. Very sad.
Update: I took my van to the local Ford dealership and they had no issue putting new brakes on. I arrived at nine and left at 11:30. While I was there, I called the number that Goodyear asked me to call to answer questions. I went through the automated response and then was put on hold with elevator music. After a few minutes, I hung up. I called expecting to go right to a person. I should’ve known better.

Haven't had much of an issue with them, yet, they've done everything properly and pretty quickly. Except, the last time I brought a company truck here, the guy at the counter seemed about as miserable as he could be, just unwelcoming and depressed. I also asked them to check my brakes because they have been squeaking pretty bad, and they apparently didn't bother. And now this most recent time, I called on a Wednesday to schedule an appointment, guy on the phone was great and helpful, scheduled an oil change for Saturday...or so I thought. Apparently they guy did not actually enter it in, or possibly the guy at the counter didn't know how to find it. Either way, someone goofed. And if they can't get something this simple right, it makes me wonder what else they might be screwing up. I'd much rather not have to find another Goodyear, as it's the closest one to me. But before I moved to this area, I was driving an hour for oil changes because the local Firestone was absolute garbage!
On top of the oil change appointment that wasn't entered in, they did finally check the brakes, and apparently one of them was really bad and is going to need extra work...almost like it might have been preventable if they have checked it the first time I asked 2-3 months ago!

Took my wife's car to this location for a coolant leak. They notified me that they couldn't find a leak that the only answer was that there was an issue with the radiator cap not able to stay pressurized so they charged me for a replacement. Took it for a second opinion today from another mechanic. He notified me that it was never leaking from that area. That the issue must have been a clamp that needed fixing and that they just blamed it on the radiator cap to get extra money out of me. Will not be back to give Goodyear business for sure...
