- CBChristiNA BT3 days ago2.0They sure sound like they know what they're doing, but when they told me I needed almost $900 worth of front end work before getting another alignment done -- just 2 months after getting new tires and buying a 3 year alignment-- after I had just had a trusted mechanic inspect the front end and replace bad/with out parts at the cost of $1,600... I took it back to the mechanic with the assumption that perhaps they just missed that... But no: Goodyear mechanics had done a shabby alignment, the new tires were worn - but not showing the wires that Goodyear said they did, and the balancing weights on the new tires had evidently been removed previously. -- and the vehicle was NOT "too dangerous to drive" as they stated, causing me also to have to pay for a tow truck! Fortunately we have trustworthy mechanics that we've been going to for over 30 years who actually back up their work and took the time out of their busy schedule to back up their work and make sure that I would be okay. Goodyear freaking LIED and they have sheisty practices! BEWARE!!
