    This service department has become a money pit. I took my car in for an oil change and they found I had a leak. I had to bring it back in to have a leaking oil pan replaced. Two weeks later I receive a warning that my engine is about to shutdown. I needed another part that was not discovered during the two services two weeks prior. Then I had to wait 4 days for the part. They had no rentals that could be provided. I had to call each day to see if the part was received. When it was finally receive and installed, my sales person, Andres left early without letting me know it was done. No consideration for inconveniencing the customer. I am in the market to buy a new car. It won’t be from this dealership because of my poor service experience.

    My car with only 9750 miles had to be towed to Kia because it wouldn't start. I was informed I would need to arrange for the towing myself on Kia's website. That part was easy and painless. The towing company was excellent. Once the car arrived at Kia late Tuesday, I was informed several times that Kia didn't provide Loaner cars. On Thursday morning I asked about a loaner again and was informed if they couldn't return my car by days end, they would provide a loaner; after repeatedly saying they don't provide loaners. The service department moved quickly, and I picked my car up on Thursday around 2:00 pm. They kept me informed with progress reports. The shuttle service provided was excellent as well. The service department is not at fault here; they repaired the car but had a policy to enforce. NOT providing a loaner to a client with a fairly new car is NOT acceptable!! It's a shame the employees in the service department have to deal with this type of policy instead of Management who make these policies. In addition, the printer in the service dept was not working so I was promised an email with the work order attachment. I never received a copy of the work order and numerous attempts calling the service dept have gone unanswered. I guess if I want a copy then I'll have to drive to the dealership in Rock Hill and pick it up myself. Carolyn Frounfelter

    We had had 2 bad experiences with Jt kia. 1st one was about 15yrs ago and now about 2 weeks ago. Wife and I had been talking with someone about 2 specific vehicles. We were told they both were available to look at. We drove an hour to the dealership. When we got there we were met by a salesman. We told him what we were there to see. After about 30 minutes the salesman came to use with a different vehicle and more expensive. He told us that 1 of the vehicles was still in service and we couldn't see it. The other 1 they couldn't find. The problem is dont tell me something is available and then try a bait and switch. That is unprofessionaland sneaky. Yes I know you are trying to sell cars but give what im asking for and stop playing games. We will definitely not be back at anytime in my lifetime.

    POTENTIAL BUYER BEWARE! I communicated with the salesperson, Mae, via phone to apprise her of my budget, trade (all details), and finance, with the intent to provide me if they can work with my budget. Unfortunately, it was a bait and switch situation, I was misled that all possibilities were on the table and she invited me to the dealership. I traveled 45 minutes one-way, and the meeting (I did not see the vehicle I was interested in) lasted less than 5 minutes. The Sales Manager sat down to apprise me that my budget would exceed by $200. They advertise on their website that they will offer thousands more on your trade. False! They were going to give me less than the appraisal I received from A Chevy dealership and Carmax by $2,000.00. I could have purchased a brand new 2026 Traverse with my trade in and be $125 per month above my budget. This dealership has, as of 03.23.26, a 2025 brand new Sorento, and it was above $200.00 + more than my budget in comparison to a 2026 Traverse. I didn't mention an extended warranty which have added more, and the Chevy dealership included with a $100.00 deductible. I was extremely unhappy that Mae could not communicate this over the phone (I'm sure she was told not to), and had me travel for nothing. Be cognizant and don't allow your eyes see the appeal solely and overspend on a new/used vehicle.

    They charged us $1,200 and we drove the car 2 miles and it died again with the same problem it originally had. They took it back again and we heard nothing for 4 days. When we finally called, they tried to say that WE did something to break the car after we left by putting a battery in wrong. My husband worked for Toyota for YEARS and went to Autozone to put in the new battery. So he is a retired professional and worked with a current professional at Autozone to install the battery. Kia told us the part was no longer manufactured by Kia, and therefore they would not assist us with any repairs. They indicated we needed to remove the car from their lot. My husband spoke with the manager, Bill, who assured him that they would rectify the situation. They did not, and we didn't hear anything back from Bill ever. We will never do business with JT's Kia again nor will we ever buy another Kia. What kind of company stops making parts for its own car and then refuses to repair it? The car had been regularly maintained AT THIS KIA LOCATION and had 90K miles, so it wasn't anywhere near how long it should have lasted, which would be 180k-250k miles according to google.
