  Rented a car for a week long trip to visit family. Picked it up Monday afternoon Oct. 20, 2025. I'm a recent widow so I was very nervous about traveling alone in a car I've have never driven before. The rental process online was so easy. I arrived and took a seat because they were a little busy. Was called up to desk after a short wait and was greeted by a sweet young lady who waited on me. Can't remember her name. It was a very pretty name and unusual. She was rather tall and had long blond hair. Nicely dressed. She walked me out and offered me two different cars to choose from. I didn't know what to choose and she helped me. Then she showed me around the car. Noted on tablet the cosmetic issues that were already reported. Explained to me the contract to initial and sign. Then very sweetly explained the Inside of the car and controls to me since I had never driven a new car with all the features. So nice to be treated with respect when you are an older person. Returned the car yesterday. Monday Oct 27. Very busy. Had to wait little longer to be waited on but this is understandable. Once I was called to the desk by another young lady she went outside checked the car to be sure it was full of gas came in and said I was ready. She didn't check it out any further so Im not sure when they do that but it was returned clean and the same way I got it. She said the deposit was released and I was good to go. I asked would I get a receipt and she said yes it would be emailed to me. Over all good experience and I will be returning to rent again on my next trip.

  We had a reservation for a “luxury” rental that we made through Enterprise in Rock Hill. They called to confirm the reservation but said that they didn’t have any luxury-type cars but that they had “a lot of other good options.” So we showed up to pick up the car on the day of our reservation and they said they had 2 pickup trucks and an Expedition. We wanted a car, not a truck or SUV. But we said we’d take the Expedition. When our agent tried to open the door to the Expedition, it turned out that the keys belonged to a Ford Edge, not the Expedition. She offered us the Edge instead but again, not the type of vehicle we were expecting. So we left and on the way back home we called the next closest location in Fort Mill, to explain what happened in Rock Hill and to see what kind of cars they had available. The lady we spoke to there said she would have to have someone call us back but they would find us the closest possible location with a luxury car available. Still waiting for that phone call 4 hours later and we just decided to hit the road in our own vehicle.

  This is my preferred Enterprise location anywhere in Charlotte and the surrounding area. They generally have a larger selection of vehicles and can often accommodate last-minute rentals if booked at least one day in advance; occasionally, I’ve even been able to secure a same-day rental. The team consistently recognizes me by name, makes drop-off seamless, and is always helpful. This location is extremely busy, particularly on weekends and evenings, and staffing can sometimes feel limited during peak times. If I visit mid-day during the week, they are usually fully staffed and the process is quick. However, after work or on weekends, there is roughly a 75% chance of waiting 15+ minutes, despite having an appointment time scheduled. Even during these busy times, the staff remain friendly and upbeat—the delays are never due to a lack of effort, but simply the high volume of customers. Overall, this team is excellent, and I highly recommend this location. One area for improvement for Enterprise as a whole would be making the rental requirements more easily accessible and simplified in person and online, as many in-person questions relate to this and hold up the line for check-ins.
