Driving from Miami to North Carolina, we had to stop here because we had an issue with a rear tire on our Kia Carnival. It was December 23rd and they were going to close early like everyone else in the area, because of the Christmas holiday. They were closing at 5:00 p.m. I believe. This place was recommended To Us by an employee working at an auto parts store close by. It is there that we purchased a tire sealant and we needed some air. They told us that Mavis provides free air.
Let me tell you something, the southern hospitality is real. I don't know it's because they're in the Bible Belt and they actually go to church, but you can feel it. When I entered the store they were about to close in 10 minutes, and I told the lady that all I needed was air to fill up a tire. She said to just go ahead and get close to the bay doors, and as soon as I did that there was a gentleman that came out with a long air hose, and he attached the guage lever and gave it to me. They were very helpful, and it's very rare to find free air anymore. So if anyone is looking for new tires or used tires or to fix a tire or anything tired or related, I highly recommend Mavis! Check this out, I just 3 Mi away, there was a gas station that was owned by a guy that was from either India or Pakistan.
There was an air compressor outside , but it accepted coins only, so I went inside and I gave him $2 so I can get $2 back in quarters. I put the two dollars worth of quarters inside the machine, and the Machine start counting down, it was a 5-minute digital readout. But, the air compressor wasn't even working! So I went back inside and I told him that the machine took my money, and his reply of course was " we don't own the machine". I could have taken it further but I'm not going to waste my time on these people, they will be judged by the Almighty one day. But it's pretty brazen, something inside of me, I'll call it the Holy Spirit hunch, tell me that this guy knew that the machine was broken, so he's basically stealing. Very very sad.
And then you see the people at Mavis, and you smile and you just look up and thank YHWH. 💯

While traveling out of town, returning to Atlanta from Charleston, SC, my GMC Yukon started experiencing problems… Vibrating severely almost undriveable. I limped it into the Mavis location on the south side of Orangeburg, SC.
I was met by Jerome, who was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, expedient, and helpful.
Although this location was understaffed today and unable to perform the work needed at that location on the same day, Jerome was able to identify the problem with the vehicle. He then contacted the other (new) nearby, sister location and got Tori to work me in to the schedule and helped get me back on the road quickly.
