  Step dad told me to come here they would set me straight he was so right Came in bout an hour before closing with a hole in my tire on a prayer they had a spot open sadly all were full tecs were full and or leaving was informed to come in tomorrow very apologetic from the front shop manager walking out to my car getting my pump out to get some air in to get home i guess i looked pitiful enough one of the other shop manager stopped me and said hed do it before they closed and he left! Done in under 30 very happy

  I received great customer service from the team here . The staff were nice and very cooperative with my situation as well as with each other . The manager Bre and the alignment technician deserve special recognition for sure !!

  Steven and the team were great. I came in 30 minutes to closing needing a tire mounted and balanced and they were able to fit me in and get me going within 15 minutes. Great customer service will return when I need a new set of tires.

  I visited Mavis Tires & Brakes for a leaking tire. I initially asked for a repair, but told them to replace the tire if it wasn’t repairable. I explained I had already plugged it myself and had to refill it with air two days in a row, so I was confident it was still leaking. They said they couldn’t find a leak and told me it wasn’t leaking. When I asked again to replace the tire, they advised against it and told me to “give it another day” after filling it. Before leaving, I asked what the tires were inflated to so I can see if it is still leaking and was told ALL FOUR tires were set to 38 PSI. When I got in my car, the display showed three tires still at 31 PSI (meaning they were not touched) and the leaking tire at 41 PSI, well above the recommended pressure. I went back inside to ask about why I was told false information and was offered to have the pressures corrected, but I was over it at that point and left. They didn’t charge me for anything which I appreciate, but i told them specifically to change the tire multiple times and they refused to. Now the next day I still have to find another shop to replace the tire.

  Sharing this for awareness… This morning I went to Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices (8511 Dorchester Road) for a simple tire repair due to one small puncture. After the tire was looked at by their tire tech (Tim), I was told the tire could no longer be patched due to additional damage. The store manager (Brianna) and Tim were shocked when I showed them the photos that we took last night that very clearly showed ONE hole. Something didn’t sit right, so I got second and third opinions from other shops. Both confirmed the same concern, that the tire appears to have been further damaged after I brought it in. I even stopped at another Mavis location (1715 Trolley Road) and spoke with their very competent and kind store manager, Michael, who also confirmed the situation after seeing my tire. I’m exhausted. This was handled so unprofessionally and dishonest, but grateful that Michael is able to make it right. I’ve included photos and a video so you can see for yourself. I’m extremely disappointed and frustrated. This didn’t feel honest from the start, and situations like this are exactly why people struggle to trust auto service shops. When we left Mavis this morning, Ava asked why I was so upset. I said, “Mommy is upset because they were dishonest!” Ava said, “what do you mean dishonest?!” I told her that they lied. Ava said, “Jesus doesn’t like when they lie but he still loves them!” It was the reminder I needed to calm myself down. We all learned a lesson today and the biggest one came from my FIVE YEAR OLD!
