Seems to be the only shop in the area that actually gives a damn about the customer and their reputation. I called every shop in a 10 mile radius and no one would let ME pay THEM to drop off an old tire for disposal. (They don't like money??) Most seemed offended that i even asked. To me it seems like the easiest possible way for a tire shop to earn money and be seen providing good customer service. Mavis let me drop it off, and took it for free. A simple gesture like that will probably pay for itself 10x over via future business from me and my family. Other tire shops could learn a thing or two from Mavis!

These guys could have scammed me out of repairs for CV axle but they were honest. Not only did they save me—but they saved me money. We went to Firestone first but was told they could not do a patch repair same day. We then came to Mavis after a family member recommended them. Despite being one hour before close, the Mavis folks told us they would have a patch repair done in no time and get us back on the road. They were kind enough to let us wait inside with our infant and dog, and we were back on the road in 30 minutes. Incredibly friendly staff who saved us from a nightmarish trip back home. Will definitely consider Mavis for future tire needs and recommend them to our family and friends in the Charleston area.
