Even though it was only about 15 minutes before closing, Mavis Tires & Brakes welcomed us in with such friendliness and transparency. Michael was absolutely amazing. He treated us like we'd known him forever and went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of quickly, safely, and with genuine kindness. It's hard to find service like this anymore, but Michael and the team at Mavis truly delivered a five-star experience. I would recommend them to anyone.

Understand staffing issues but why wasnt a test drive completed before giving car back to customer. What if this was an oil change? There would be no way of knowing the work wasnt completed like a shaking out of balance tire. Last visit to this location.

- DBDemond BrownNov 1, 20251.0On October 30, 2025 I went to the 1283 Knox Ave location to have two front tires replaced. The guy who checked me in was overly stern for no reason and pretty rude. They replaced my tires and that’s all they did. They never balanced the tires, left the old balance weights on, and as a result my truck was shaking like crazy once you went over 65MPH. So I had to take my truck to the PROFESSIONALS at the 1115 Knox Ave. They took care of me and even called back to the sorry 1283 location to let them know that their tech messed up. The white guy with the beard and the white lady were polite and professional. I’m guessing I felt with the manager of the store. I paid for a service, they didn’t complete the work, and as a result I had to get up early in the morning, burn my gas to take my vehicle to the 1115 location to have them fix what the 1283 location was too lazy to finish. They didn’t even have the decency to apologize or anything. They just pretty much gave me their butt to kiss after they took my money. So with that being said if you’re gonna go to Mavis for service in North Augusta go to the 1115 Knox Ave location if you want your vehicle done right the FIRST time. Their techs at the 1283 location are lazy and don’t pay attention to detail apparently.
