- TJTresha Johnson6 days ago5.0My car broke down unexpectedly, and being new to the area, I had the towing company take it to the closest place — Mavis Tire at 2075 Hwy 501. I honestly couldn’t have been luckier. My husband was out of town and called ahead, speaking with Sam, who was incredibly kind and reassuring over the phone. I rode with the tow driver, and once I arrived, Sam and his team quickly diagnosed my Lexus RX350 as needing an alternator and a battery. It was already after 3:00 PM, and they close at 6:00, but Sam immediately said they’d get started right away. Not only did they take care of everything, they stayed until 7:30 PM — well after closing — just to make sure my car was ready. Everyone there that night was super nice and helpful, and they truly went above and beyond during a very stressful situation. I have never experienced customer service like this, and I am forever grateful. I will absolutely be bringing my car here in the future and highly recommend this location to anyone. Thank you, Sam and the entire team!

After leaving, the car was making a noise it wasn’t making before and found a loose bolt. Went back in the morning for the entire staff to be extremely rude and say they didn’t touch that part of the car. We went to the other Mavis location in Carolina Forest on Debo Dr and spoke to a manager since the manager at the 501 location did not want to remedy the situation. He said the paperwork they gave my nephew even shows they DID touch that part of the car. Overall horrible customer service. If you choose to do business with this company do NOT use this location, instead go to the one on Debo Dr!

I was driving from Leland, NC to Murrells Inlet, SC to visit a family member in the hospital when my Jeep started running hot. I managed to make it to Mavis Tire Center, hoping for some kind of help. Thankfully, help is EXACTLY what I found here. The team was already outside and immediately came over to check on me. They quickly inspected my Jeep, figured out what was going on and filled the reservoir with coolant to get me safely back on the road. They also gave me helpful tips to make sure my vechicle stayed cool long enough to complete my trip. The guys were all so kind, and genuinely cared — especially knowing I was trying to get to the hospital as soon as possible. I just made it back home safely and I could not sit down fast enough to thank the outstanding team at NTB for what they did for me this morning. In a stressful moment, they offered complete support and peace of mind without hesitation. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! 😃
