  one of the best experiences I have had with car rentals. I use car rental places a couple of times a year in various places. The staff was willing to work with my times to give me the benefit. The car was clean and in superb condition. The check in process was quick and convenient. The staff was super friendly. Would highly recommend Alamo if you are in the Myrtle Beach airport.

  Terrible experience from the very start. The gentlemen who helped us at the counter was extremely rude and acted as if my wife and I were stupid. After telling me I could use my debit card he then changed his mind and I had to call my wife to come bring a credit card and miss our pregnancy appointment completely. Said if I had a return itinerary I could use debit. So I asked if I did which he replied I know you don’t you said you don’t and I asked. All of those things simply just didn’t happen and were not asked. He just assumed I didn’t and put words in my mouth. Seemed as if me renting a car from them was the most annoying task, even though it’s quite literally the whole job. Was very much treated like less than and left my pregnant wife feeling very upset. All of this just to try to drive and get to my Aunts funeral. Horrific experience. WAY better off renting somewhere else

  Vehicle was not clean. It needed to be washed and the windows were filthy, inside and out. The inside should have been vacuumed. We found items from the previous renter inside the vehicle.

  Never used ALAMO before and decided to take a chance and was thoroughly pleased with my experience. I had a glitch with the online reservation, and days later the agent at the counter fixed the problem quickly, enabling me to be on my way without delay. The vehicle was awesome. It was clean and without any issues. I think I will try ALAMO again! And I'll recommend ALAMO to my friends and family!

  We rented a car in North Mrytle Beach at airport, we did not have a reservation ahead. The counter person was very helpful, we got a good rate & process was quick & easy. The car was a 2026 Nissan Rogue and it was very nice, was perfect for the 4 if us & luggage. Return process was very quick, so in our way to catch our plane in short time. I would definitely recommend using Alamo.
