  If you need a car , elim is the way to go , they made it very easy for me , had no problems checking in and checking out carver's very nice and clean

  With two reservations in the system one more than 24 hours in advance …. Somehow they don’t have cars…. Manager responded with, our company doesn’t care, once we’re out of cars we’re out of cars… terrible people! And refused to tell me their names once they saw I was frustrated. In the picture attached are the guys that basically said enterprise, national and Alamo are completely out of cars and that corporate doesn’t care that they’re out of cars even with a older than 24 hours reservation. Both very rude people and discriminatory attitude. When I asked about corporate policy number they responded with they don’t have it written down and he knows they have cars in the parking lot but they won’t rent them out.

  Don’t waste your time making a reservation with Alamo. I had a confirmed reservation with a confirmation number, but when I arrived at the counter, the agent simply told me there were no cars available. I was then told I needed to book at least 48 hours in advance—something that was never made clear during the reservation process. Instead of offering any solution or assistance, they just pointed me toward other vendors and moved on. No effort to help, no accountability. It makes no sense to issue a confirmation number if you can’t honor the reservation. Very disappointing experience.

  Amazing service. I had troubles with the initial infant car seat and they were very accommodating ensuring I got the right one for my child with no added fees. Got a brand new Toyota highlander to drive while on vacation and their rates were the best around. Definitely would rent from them again.

  Flew in to Myrtle Beach International Airport this March 2026. The car rental area is straight across from airport exit. It was an extremely quick check-in. Convenient, short walk to the car under covered walkways. We rented a small 4 door vehicle and received a brand new Nissan Sentra; it was very sporty, clean, and a comfortable drive. Returning car was just as easy! Very pleased.
