Those wanting a vehicle the day of was able to get in and ride. Ryder the manager said that I would have to wait on a return but nothing that came in was what I reserved. Finally at the last min something came in and I settled for it. Ryder needs more tools of how to deescalate a situation.

While my insurance is doing their part I came to enterprise to deal with what II thought was the easy part. My wallet along with many other things were lost in the accident. I totally understand needing a hard copy of an id to rent a car. I went to the dmv which as we all know is an experience in itself. The state of SC doesn’t print license’s on site anymore. They give you a temporary that looks like this Your new permanent license is mailed. It is able to be scanned and everything. You literally should be able to do anything with it including get through TSA. The people at the DMV told me this. I was already having an awful day and uber is well just expensive so I called ahead to enterprise anyway to make sure I wouldn’t have an issue and on top of that not have to pay an additional $45 to get back to summerville. I got there and the customer service was just God awful. One of the employees that worked there actually came out and apologized because she thought whoever was in charge could have done more and handled it better. Shout out to her because that gave me some hope in humanity.I then called customer service and they basically told me they’d call and see what was going on. Called me back said they couldn’t help me and every other enterprise in the state of SC accepts the temporary Id except for that one.Mind you THAT WAS THE ONLY OPTION I HAD ANDI CALLED AHEAD IF TIME. So if your dealing with and insurance claim just don’t go there. I called ahead of time and did everything that was asked and got treated like absolute garbage.
