- DDdidis97Feb 24, 20262.0This store has typically provided great customer service, but this was not the case yesterday when I tried to return a filter wrench that I purchased the day before. The wrench is in prestine condition, as all I did was remove it from the packaging (I was unable to use it on my vehicle due to it being slightly larger than the space available surrounding the filter). I was advised that the return could not be processed because the item had been removed from the original packing (cardboard backing and adhesive plastic wrap which I put back together as best as possible). I know for a fact that I have purchased items from this store before which had clearly been opened and returned, with their packaging taped shut or stapled shut, so it is disappointing that my return was declined. There are 3 other competitors adjacent/down the road from this location, and I'll be taking my business to those from here on out.

The store manager helping me seemed to be slightly interested in another customer while looking up break pads. I got home and have a product not compatible with my vehical. Now I have to put the car back together to go get an exchange. And if the question comes up he sold me the rear pads.... nope these are not them. 100% missed the customer needs.

Typically a car battery will last 2-5 years, with premium batteries lasting 5-6 years. But you should replace it every 4 years for safe measures if you want to avoid any unwanted problems.
What are the signs of a bad car battery?
Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
