- ICInessa CompaoreJan 29, 20262.0I went to get my oil change. After it was done we started the car and my check engine light was on. The check engine light wasn’t on before I got the oil change. I told them about the sensor. They started looking up how to reset that sensor. I advised them again that the sensor wasn’t on until after the oil change. I researched and it said that the gas filter nozzle wasn’t put back on tight or correctly. I told him that and he brushed it off. I then asked him to please check. He lifted the hood and looked and shut it. Didn’t try to adjust anything. We ended up leaving and my husband took the nozzle off and screwed it back in properly. The engine light went off. They were they were just trying to put a “bandaid” over the issue by just trying to reset the sensor and not actually caring about what was actually wrong.
