  I’ve had multiple repair experiences with Gerber Collision over an extended period, spanning from 2024 into the current year, across more than one claim. Unfortunately, a consistent issue throughout has been lingering, unresolved problems after repairs were completed. Each time work was done, there seemed to be something left unfinished or an issue that surfaced later, requiring additional follow-ups. This made the process feel ongoing rather than fully resolved, and I often had to advocate for further inspection or clarification. Over time, issues that were not properly addressed earlier resulted in additional costs for me out of pocket, including having to replace tires due to abnormal wear that appeared later on. This is an issue I am still dealing with, and it added financial strain that I did not expect after the repairs were supposedly completed. To add to the frustration, my vehicle was also broken into during this overall period, and I am still waiting on back-ordered parts for my car to be fully repaired. As of now, the vehicle is still not completely restored. The overlap of multiple claims, unresolved issues, delays, and inconsistent follow-through has made this a long and stressful experience. I’m not trying to place blame I simply expected a more thorough and final repair process, especially given the length of time and number of visits involved. Gerber may work well for some customers, but based on my experience, I recommend asking detailed questions, requesting written documentation for all work performed, and thoroughly checking the vehicle before accepting it back.

  I used Gerber on Broad River Rd because my insurance company suggested it. I can’t express how good my experience with them was. Even though my truck was eventually “terminal”, the service manager Matt was so had the best attitude and was always open and honest about what they were trying to do. And the receptionist, I hate I don’t know her name, was always positive and actually seemed like she enjoyed her job. If I ever need anything done with a vehicle I will use them.

  I had an auto accident in which my 2020 Kia Soul was damaged pretty bad. I knew that John Harris would be the only place my car would go. True to their word, my car looks better now than it did the day I bought it. Scott and Nick kept me updated with text messaging on the progress, and I picked up my Soul on 10/13/20. She looks spectacular. If anything should ever happen again, God forbid, my automobile will be right back at John Harris. If you want something done right, you go to the best in Columbia...John Harris Body Shop!

  Only had an estimate, but the experience was good. Jose did a great job and was very friendly. Waiting for approval from the insurance company and will hopefully be back for the repairs.
