- DGDevin GoodsonFeb 23, 20261.0So I typically go to the Valvoline on halter road except for when I need my tires rotated because they have no way to do it. So when I need them rotated I ALWAYS go to the one on Pelham road. Went in today for oil change and tire rotation and when they were starting the tire rotation the big white guy (didn’t get his name) asked me where I had them rotated last and I told him I got them done there and he then proceeded to tell me I was lying and that I’ve never had my tires rotated. Told him to look at the carfax and then he claimed he couldn’t look back that far. So I pulled it up myself and he still told me i was lying. He then said they couldn’t do it because my lug nuts are “swollen” and have been for awhile. Keep in mind I just had my one of my tires taken off to get a patch put on it. I honestly believe he just did not want to do his job. I’ve never had an issue before until today and I will most certainly not be returning to the one on Pelham road ever again and he should be fired for arguing with a customer and calling me a liar. And attached I have a screenshot of my carfax proving I have indeed had my tires rotated there.
- DCDaniel CaliFeb 20, 20263.0Came in for an oil change and a coolant flush/change. My car was perfectly fine, only did the coolant flush as preventative maintenance. First time i left the place my car gave a warning light stating "coolant temp too high" went back and he topped it off and sent me on my way. Got home to double check and my coolant reservoir was near empty! Went to another valvoline closer to my house and the guy topped it off and then sent me back to the original place i got the coolant done. Went back to the original place the guy that originally topped it off. All he did was top it off again. Kept blaming my car! After i told him my heat stopped working when i got home and that my coolant was low. The issue was the guy did not make sure to do everything properly. I still had air in my coolant/radiator hoses which caused all these issues from the beginning.I had made three trips that day, i will not be returning to that location. They did get the oil change done correctly but never again with a coolant flush.
