  I had to rent a car after mine was totaled and I would highly recommend the Enterprise in Fountain Inn has friendly and helpful staff and a great selection of vehicles. I was treated respectful and with understanding given I was overwhelmed by the whole situation that led me to require a rental. Austin walked me through the whole process and answered all of my questions. I sincerely appreciate his kindness and patience. Kory made the return process quick and simple. And the Buick I got was in great shape inside and out, a truly lovely vehicle and staff. Thank you again so much Austin and Kory.

  My vehicle was hit while parked at my workplace on March 5th. The at-fault driver's insurance set up a rental through Enterprise, but Enterprise couldn't even get me a car until March 17th — nearly two weeks without transportation yet I was patient and understanding to Enterprise. Then, when the insurance company totaled my vehicle, they told me to return the rental by the 20th. So I had the car for three days. Three days. I drove it from Enterprise to my house, and then from my house back to Enterprise. That's it. I put approximately 8.5 miles on a Mitsubishi Mirage. The fuel gauge read full when I returned it. Enterprise still charged me $5.69 for a gallon of gas. I drove 8.5 miles in a car that gets 40 mpg. That's roughly 0.2 gallons of fuel. The gauge showed full. And yet someone at this location decided it was appropriate to charge me for an entire gallon of gas I never used. It's $5.69. I understand that and don't care enough to fight for it. Which arguably might be what Enterprise expects. Which is why it's the principle. When a customer is already dealing with the stress of having their car totaled through no fault of their own, waited patiently for nearly two weeks for a rental, had it for barely 72 hours, and returned it with a full tank — charging them for phantom fuel is the kind of petty, nickel-and-dime move that tells you everything you need to know about how a company operates. Needless to say, if I had to choose between an enterprise car or a uhaul to get around tomorrow, it wouldn't be Enterprise.
