Jack tried to upcharge him $1200 to replace tire rods and parts that he didn’t even need. thankfully my boyfriend caught on & went elsewhere for a second opinion from an HONEST mechanic, who said there was nothing wrong with his tire rods.

But,,,, there seemed to be some misunderstanding on their part. One day they can do the work,, next they can't put in your own parts. But they did it this time. Said 2 hour wait,, but had me out in 1 hour. Way to go team.
- ATA TaylorMar 14, 20265.0I had to do this review as I was so happy with the service and the accommodations. I arrived frazzled on a Thursday night as my tire pressure light came on. I went to firestone and was told they were closing but I had a nail in my tire. There suggestion was just watch it and put air every time the sensor came on. I was traveling to Winston Salem the next morning and was worried. I was told to get fix a flat from a friend. I got to Autozone and an associate said come to this Mavis they are open late today. I called distraught and was answered by a kind manager I think (looked like a mix of Teddy Swimms and a Viking haha). He told me he was open and just get there. My only qualm was it was dark as heck to find them but once I did they took me in quickly as my pressure was 22 PSI now. While fixing the tire he also did a check for me about a bucket I ran over and didn't try to upsell me but was honest that car was okay. Which I appreciated. Staff was fast, kind and thorough. Will definitely return and refer.
