Came and got my vehicle serviced and I should’ve went with my gut. 1600 dollars later and about a few hours later I’m getting my vehicle towed. I was charged for a diagnostic and it doesn’t seem that was even properly done. When I picked up my vehicle there were notes on the paper work that were completely false. Statements that were made by the customer when it was the technician. I am so disappointed and the service manager and technician were already gone at pickup. The gentleman there couldn’t even answer any of my questions bc “there were no notes”. All he could say was he was sorry, and at this point so am I for bringing my car here, after I requested my tires to be rotated early this week with my oil change and that wasn’t done, but the front desk staff said otherwise. I had a photo to confirm my tires were not rotated. I initially had a great experience here a few months back, but today’s experience completely obliterated that. It’s hard to find a place with people of integrity and good work ethic. Life is already hard as it is and the economy is jacked. To shell out money and it doesn’t appear the issues were properly addressed. Just a money grab.

I cannot say enough good things about Goodyear in Fort Mill. I had a screw in my tire yesterday evening and was able to get an appointment for first thing this morning. They got me in and out in less than an hour with great service and a great price. Their lobby area was clean and also included an area to set up a work station, which is very helpful to me. I definitely will recommend to friends. Thank you, Goodyear!

I went in to get an estimate for one tire. Janeka was new and was very helpful. She explained about the QR in my door could provide a lot of information about my car. Another man was there, Barry that was extremely rude with zero customer service skills. While Janeka was trying to assist me, Barry made a hand gesture fir her to stop working with me and sign him in to the computer he was trying to quell on. Janeka held her composure and continued to assist me. Barry was clearly irritated. Pacing back and forth and never once greeting me. If body language could speak, I could see he was not easy to work with. Customer service and how employees treat customers whether they are working with a customer or not, will dictate if I return.

Goodyear at Fort Mill is the place to go. I have a company fleet of vehicles that I use on a daily basis and whether it's a nail in a tire or a failed transmission, Goodyear has always been reliable, affordable and honest of work needed and performed. The manager Bob is also very big reason we continue our business with Goodyear. His communication skills and attention to providing detailed explination are top notch. We not only trust them with our company trucks that are still running great 20 years later some with over 160k miles but we also take our personal vehicles to him as well. We won't do business anywhere else as long as as there are people like Bob and his team taking care of us so that we can keep moving on the roads.

Like a lot of people, I’ve always been nervous about taking my car in for maintenance because I never knew if I was being upsold or overcharged. Finding a mechanic that I can know I can trust to be fair and dependable has not been an easy task. I can’t begin to say enough good things about Robert (Bob) and his team at this Goodyear location. They’re the kind of mechanic that everyone hopes to find- honest, dependable, and genuinely caring. They treat you like you’ve been a customer for years, explain everything in plain language, and don’t try to push unnecessary repairs. I purchased a set of tires from them in November of 2022. Earlier this year, I had one tire that kept losing air, so I brought it in to see if it could get patched. Bob removed 2 nails, patched the tire and didn’t charge me a dime. When I insisted on paying something, Bob asked, “You bought the tires from me, right?” When I said yes, he replied, “Well then have a good night.” Just this week, my car wouldn’t start. Because we are AAA members, I called them out to the house to diagnose the issue and possibly replace the battery. When he did the test, the technician said the battery was low, but he didn’t want to replace it because the alternator was showing signs of being low and recommended that I have it towed to the AAA car care center to see about getting another test and possibly a new alternator. I had a gut feeling that I should have it towed to Goodyear instead so I made the request. The AAA tow guy did not seem thrilled. Bob diagnosed that I needed a new battery and that the alternator was just fine, saving me potentially hundreds of dollars. When I asked him if he would look at my brake pads to see if they needed replacing, he said they were still in good shape (6 and 9) and that he doesn’t recommend changing until they get down to a 3. All this is to say that I have found a mechanic that provides outstanding service and genuinely cares about the community he serves. This is the place I will recommend and continue to take my car for any and all of its needs.
