I was completely disgusted by the service I received today by this location. This is usually the location I used as they have ALWAYS provided top tier service. Not today though. I arrived at the store about 8:15-8:20ish in hopes that I could get my headlight replaced in my Honda. Only to my surprise I was told that they no longer install headlights but that sell the parts and the customer can install it themselves. This must be a new policy because I’ve ALWAYS got my headlights replaced & installed at this location. So I purchased the headlight and went home. Once there I realized the headlight was not the right one. I called the store at 8:49pm as I knew they closed at 9pm to tell the associate that the lightbulb I received wasn’t the correct one. He proceeded to tell me that they closed at 9pm and if I could get back by 9 they would replace it. I assured him that I was already in transit and would be there by 9. Putting my life at risk, I sped down the road and pulled into the parking lot at 8:59. The clocked switched to 9pm at I was grabbing the door handle of this location. The two associates met me at the door with the what assume was the manager leading, for him to tell me that they were closed and he had already shut down the computer system and they were clocked out. As I stood there in disbelief because they knew I was on the way back and I was there at 9pm he locked the door and got in his truck to drive off. The other associate just held his head down and walked away quietly not saying a word. I couldn’t believe that this happened especially being that they associates knew that I was coming back to switch out the headlight. I am disgusted with but he way this was handled and hope that no one else has to experience anything of this nature. A waste of gas, putting myself in danger speeding to get there, only to have the door closed in my face. I’m sure there was no way that the system was shut down and they were walking out the store at 9pm on the dot if the system was not shut down prior to 9pm. As a former retail worker, the doors of the location do not closed until the actually time, not a minute or seconds sooner. Of all my experiences at this location, I cannot believe this took place and in the manner it took place. And to make matters worse, I pulled out and was sitting waiting to turn onto 160. Instead of the manager turning, he purposely waited thinking I was going to turn and when he realized I wasn’t moving just yet he went to the other exit and sped off going the same direction I was headed. Another indication that he knew he was wrong with how he handled the situation. I guess he thought because I was black that I was going to cause him harm for the way he handled things. Funny thing is, I was searching for another place I could purchase the headlight since he closed the door to the store I my face after knowing I was coming back to the store would would arrive right at 9pm. Again, totally I disbelief with how this was handled and hope this experience will be handled properly.
