I rented a car during a hurricane warning, and halfway to Hilton Head the windshield wipers stopped working in the pouring rain. I had to pull over on the highway and untangle them myself just to see the road. On the way home, the oil light came on saying “Check oil NOW.” When I checked, the dipstick was bone dry. The car was ticking and clearly not maintained. I had to buy and add oil myself — alone, at night, on the highway — just to make it home safely. When I returned the car early to explain what happened, the manager and staff were rude and told me I “shouldn’t have added oil.” No apology, no concern, no accountability. Even the customer service line was useless. Unsafe car, poor maintenance, and zero professionalism. I’ll never rent from Enterprise on Irby St. again.
