I have had to remind them to torque the lug nuts in the past. On my last visit they argued with me last week about one of my vehicles not ever being serviced there and then they used a different oil than I used the last time. When I got home I found the receipt from the last time. It was $40 cheaper last time because of the type of oil. It was a 15 year old vehicle that was using conventional oil, but now it has to use full synthetic. When one of my daughters brings their vehicle in to be serviced they drill them on trying to upsell them with several ridiculous services they don't really need. Apparently they are on a commission or bonus system to upsell. They told her that her tag light was out, and her cabin and intake air filter needed replacing, and her brakes were almost wore out. I had most of those items replaced within the last six months. I doubled checked and there was nothing wrong with any of those things. In my book that's attempted robbery! Most service centers try to upsell, I understand that. But you got to be honest if you want to keep your customers coming back. I basically use them because they can service a vehicle and rotate the tires without an appointment relatively quickly. I'm not sure I'll be going back to that particular service center in Easley SC.

They tried to tack on $400 for front breaks and didn’t even look at them when telling me I needed them. The only thing that was a positive experience was the coupon that they had for 50% off my oil change.

With my busy schedule I couldn't find time to make an appointment and leave my vehicle with my usual auto shop. It was just too inconvenient with all the errands to accomplish to be without my ride for a whole day. As I was driving to my first destination and hoping my procrastination wasn't going to be detrimental to my vehicle I just happened to notice Jiffy Lube. I had bad experiences in the past with the corner 5 minute oil change places but I knew Jiffy Lube had a reputation to uphold and the whole atmosphere from the parking, office, and garage area was very clean, organized and professional. I just knew God had blessed me by putting a Jiffy Lube right there in my path. The price was a little less than my usual auto shop and the mechanics were knowledgeable. I was happy to hear that my vehicle inspection, included in the oil change showed no problems. I was out and on my way in 30 minutes. I will definitely go to this Jiffy Lube next time when an oil change is due. My poor vehicle won't have to suffer my procrastination. It's a very convenient location for me and the experience was perfect!
