  I had my first experience with the team at Mavis in Darlington today, and it was very pleasant, from the initial phone call to the in person interactions, work was quick and efficient and the crew worked well in communicating with me through my appt. Anthony was particularly helpful as we talked about my car and some of the work done to it. I also saw another employee very patiently and expertly helping another client who was elderly and hard of hearing. Overall very friendly experience. Would come again.

  When I entered the business . I was greeted with a hay how are you doing. I was asked a few questions. The wait wasn't long at all. Very professional .I will be bringing my questions and car back to them in the future . Thanks Mavis.

  Spencer was amazing! We had a blow out on the way to the beach and he got us in and took great care of us. He was very knowledgeable and quick. He got us back on our way with a smile. That man deserves a raise, a bonus, and a beer!

  If you enjoy the sensation of being nickel-and-dimed while standing in a lobby, this is the place for you. I fell for their "online coupon" trap—a classic bait-and-switch designed to lure in new customers under the guise of a deal. The coupon claims $20 off, yet I still walked out paying $76 for a basic oil change on a 16-year-old Honda. That isn’t a "deal"; it’s a daylight robbery disguised as a service. At this price point, you might as well go to a certified dealership or a reputable independent shop where the pricing is actually transparent and the "coupons" aren't just decorative. I made the mistake of trying somewhere new; don't make the same one. They’ve earned this one star, and they’ve definitely lost a customer for life. Never again

  Yesterday I purchased 4 new tires and 4 new tire pressure sensors. Price was very reasonable and received military discount. 2hours 45 mins the work was complete. Not deal breaker for me. I want job done correctly. Now my frustration came when I noticed all four tires had different PSI. ONE 42, another 39, 41,40. The recommended pressure in owners manual is 35. So I asked one of the mechanics why they don’t put correct air in them. His response,”we go off recommended manufacture PSI.” Great it says 35. He said ,”that’s minimum pressure, for max. Performance it should be between 36-42.” Why does it not say that and if that’s correct than why was not same PSI on all four tires. The other issue is and I’m aware that they upsell to customer other issues they find (commission). And they offered to repair and change fluids(oil). I told him I just had my oil changed yesterday. He said well must not be a sticker. Lol, there is and was! So buyer beware.
