SAVE YOUR TIME! It took THREE times for them to finally realize they wouldn’t be able to work on my car. THREE TIMES!! The first day I had to leave because they had nobody to work on it, so I came back EARLY the next day. After THREE HOURS I called them and the STORE MANAGER didn’t even know what car I was talking about and they didn’t even look at it until I called. And nobody called me back after that, UNTIL I CALLED. The ONLY decent thing they did was not try lifting my car with the rust. I go back today and they WAIT TIL NOW TO TELL ME THEY COULDN'T WORK ON IT. I found out later my parents have been complaining about them being slow and taking forever. SAVE YOUR FRUSTRATION AND GO SOMEWHERE THAT VALUES YOUR TIME

I have gone to several Mavis locations in Columbia and this one is the best. The service was great, staff were very knowledgable and friendly. Prices were good. The place is clean, staff dressed professionally. Highly recommend.

Jordan took care of me up front smiles and made sure I got everything i needed including discounts.Todd took care of my mechanical baby even joked a little. Professional and friendly people including Chris upfront. Closer than Take 5 and better priced. Probably gonna use them from now on.

I visited your Hardscrabble location for a routine tire balance. During the complimentary inspection, the technician recommended several services, including struts, brake fluid, brakes, and tire replacement due to what was reported as low tread depth (4/32" and 5/32"). However, upon verification, my tires measure approximately 8/32" and 9/32" and have fewer than 10,000 miles of use. Additionally, the struts are brand new, and both the brake fluid and brakes were recently serviced. As an ASE Master Certified technician with over 22 years of experience, I am confident in the current condition of my vehicle. I questioned the findings, and the service advisor explained that the technician is new (less than one month at this location) and apologized for the inaccuracies. I appreciate the advisor’s professionalism and understand she was relaying the information provided to her. That said, my concern is broader. Customers rely on your team to provide accurate, honest assessments of their vehicles. Recommending unnecessary services—especially in today’s economic climate—can erode trust and place an unfair financial burden on customers who may not have the technical knowledge to question these claims. While the tire balance itself was completed satisfactorily and the staff was courteous, I did notice oil and grease residue left on my wheels, which required additional cleaning on my part. I hope management takes this feedback seriously. Proper training for new technicians and a strong emphasis on integrity and accuracy in inspections are essential to maintaining customer trust and upholding your shop’s reputation.
