  I came to Gerber Collision on 03/06/2026 to get a walk in estimate for my Volvo. I already have an open claim with USAA and just wanted to price around before deciding where to get it fixed. That’s it. Simple. From the moment I walked in it felt like I was doing something wrong. The lady at the front kept telling me I was supposed to already have an estimate in their system. I explained more than once that I was just walking in to get a quote and compare prices. She kept saying that’s not how they do it there. I was honestly just confused and frustrated at that point. What really bothered me is not a single person came outside to even look at my car. Not one. I took time out of my day to come up there and couldn’t even get someone to step outside for five minutes. That didn’t sit right with me at all. The energy in there felt tense too, like employees were competing for work. It just wasn’t welcoming. I’ve heard from someone else that their car came out looking good after repairs, so maybe the actual body work is fine. But customer service and first impressions matter, and this wasn’t it. I’ll be fixing my car somewhere else.
